I haven't looked into the whole story about the herpes lady but I am wondering how they're so sure it came from a MAC tester?

They aren't. It's just her claiming it is.

I hate how the press is like MAC gave her herpes when its like...she didn't clean the damn tester, what did she expect...sometimes you have to take responsibility for your own health.

MAC has been very consistent (well....;-) with they releases lately, so it was just a matter of time that a new release drama is going to hit us. It's nothing unusual. It won't stop us from buying. It won't stop us from stalking. After all, this (delay) is MAC business as usual. I wouldn't even be surprised to see pop it up early.

Hahahahahhahahaa i kinda agree tho. Even a week delay wouldn't be so bad. But MAC seriously needs to get their shit together. I highly doubt it has to do with supply issues. My source said it was probably the herp twerp that's causing it. They shouldn't have even had a tester in the first place. It should have been one of those things where it's you get it or forget it. Honestly i had no clue about the lawsuit until i saw it on here, so unless you're a MAC freak like us or an employee, i doubt anyone else knows much about, if anything at all.

That's not true at all. I saw it all over IG and facebook from regular people who aren't crazy mac fans even men

I'm guessing it's next thursday, because that's the day we got for the netherlands. I also expect it to go up around 12pm here (11am UK time). Last time at least it went online at the same time for us. I can't promise anything though. This is just what I'm expecting.

The riri collection is push back due to a fan saying she caught herpes from a ririwoo lipstick at a Mac pop up shop at the concert I never use lipstick that has been samples by others I guess she feels they should have made sure it was sanitized but all I know is this sucks cause a lawsuit will push things way back I'm guessing

If the herpes thing is the reason, here's what I don't get...IF she got it from the lipstick, that could have happened with any shade . It's not as if Mac added the herpes virus to the formula of the lipstick.

I may be a minority here but if indeed the herpes came from the lipstick that is the MUA's fault for not properly sanitizing a product to test on a customer...

Can herpes even exist on lipstick that long to pass to the next person? they would of had to literally use the lipstick and then seconds and i mean like 2-3 seconds later put it on their lips. I'm not a MD tho but just thinking about it.

In all honesty I doubt she will get a dime out of mac. She would need a damn good lawyer and some strong evidence to do so.. It feels like we've been waiting forever for this collection and now we have to wait even longer smh

Im thinking she either had it before or got it while kissing someone who has it while she had ririwoo on her lips lol ( i know, no joking matter but shes a fool if she thinks she can pin point where she got it. It can take weeks to show symptoms and even sharing s cup with someone could have been the culprit) And if mac really delayed this whole launch because of that 1 person they are fools also.

They will probably speak with her doctor to see if she had it already and also test her boyfriend and/or family members. If it is proven she lied, I hope MAC sues her for defamation. If it's true I will be shocked. IMHO.

I really wanted my Heaux and RiRi Boy this week. Oh well.

Which i'd be interested to even see if she had regular check ups anyways...lot of people (not everyone) either don't have insurance or only go to the doctor when there is something they cannot fix on their own, and i bet you anything this will be the case. I also thought about that too if turn to find out she does not have it or she contracted it and has had it before this, if they would in return sue her for defamation. I would hope that she is not lying tho bc her name is out there and really she has told the world she has herpes so...yeah...
