I use Prep+Prime lip with RRW and most of my matte lipsticks, no matter the brand. Thanks to Specktra (I think it was Erine) for that tip! I am looking forward to hauling this on the 18th (after pay day, woo!). Thanks luvlydee for posting the release date and for starting this thread in the first place!i love how riri woo is. i wore it to work and not once did i feel that uncomfortable dry feeling. after a few hours though i saw that it bled but i didnt use any primer so its my fault lol
That's not what that acronym makes me think about...up the...I do like the formula which is why I'm still on the fence. The thought of having a matte rebel excites me more than a matte UTA.
Also I kinda dislike typing UTA because all I think about is UTI.
Lol!! I was doing the same thing!I am also doing some just in case peeking lol
THIS Heaux wants that Heaux!!This is supposed to be Heaux: http://instagram.com/p/aKMApiD4Tp/
I totally agree with you Ms Monroe! Mac has some of us at odds! See if the collection would've dropped on time, right now we'd be discussing something else!Lets stop the drama can't we all just get along!! we all are slaves to Mac and that's enough drama in itself lmao
Triple agree! I'm always conscious of what colors to buy by swatches alone and Erine has helped me multiple times!!:agree: !!!!!!
Absolutely it's all macs fault we could have been discussing our shipment confirmation emails!!I totally agree with you Ms Monroe! Mac has some of us at odds! See if the collection would've dropped on time, right now we'd be discussing something else!
Heaux doesn't look as dark as I thought it was going to be. Those computer generated Mac images are always a little off, and tend to be lighter and brighter than the lipstick really is. I was afraid that it was going to be really dark, and I know I wouldn't wear it. If it's similar to Rebel, then I think I will like it. I am so glad we are starting to see some pictures pop up!Hasn't been confirmed but the last IG posted posted really looks like Rebel and UTA to me. Which somehow kills my joy a little.
Can we have a group hug and get back to makeup!
This made me laugh. I'm over here trying on all my stuff from the other collectionsAbsolutely it's all macs fault we could have been discussing our shipment confirmation emails!!
A thread has been started for Melt Cosmetics if you're interested in more swatches.
Wise words! And thank you, Erine, for being a great resource. I am browsing from mobile and it is hard to catch up with 300+ posts, but without fail, you are always quick with a reply regardless of someone's membership status. So back to Riri Summer... I want RiRi Boy and Heaux. The blush/bronzer doesn't excite me. I wish the blush portion was larger! I am a sucker for product names and Hibiscus sounds as close to a tropical vacation as I will ever get.Listen, I've been a member here for a long, long time. There has been a shift in the way things are handled here as members come and go, people have their days and so on. That's neither here nor there. I've had a handful of misunderstanding with people. I think we all know tone is hard to establish over the internet whether it's with a stranger or someone you "know". I always find that explaining diffuses a situation. Example, when one member said she bought 3 RRW's, somehow she took my comment of "damn" with a laughing face as a judgement on her. I simply explained I wasn't judging and the situation was over. It doesn't matter if you have 1 post or 1,000 under your belt. If you feel like you've been disrespected or see something you don't like, you should be allowed to say so respectfully. If cooler heads prevail, and bullying or ridiculing was not the intention then the situation will be over. No one likes to be lectured, no one likes to be disrespected, no one likes to see the same question asked a million times or answer the same question a million times. So, let's just breathe and handle situations as they come.
here....everythings better
I'm a real old timer here & its been a hoot. I know & love Erine & Richelle. I love information & playful snarkiness. I get it.
I'm nice to old & new a like, but I LOVE the snarky, teasing & fun. I do not think we act like a crew or club....we help everyone. I love everyone (almost).
I also have spent endless hours swatching, posting pictures (none of which were nudes thank god) answering questions etc. etc. I have also been highly annoyed that I will post photos & very detailed descriptions of colors just to have someone on the next page or just a few posts later ask about the color that I just posted about
I really love erines snarky comments...it entertaines me & unfortunately irritates others
