thanks medgal! you even provided a comparison pic!!!
i see how they have some similarities, esp that bottom left shade, yet i guess rsq has more of a 'grey' tone and awq more of a beige. i like the fact that rsq's lightest is less light than awq's...is that just the photo, or actual fact? i was most worried that the lighter greys would be too 'white' on my skin and therefore less useful to me...but at the time when i checked out awq i didn't have awq with me to compare.
the only downside is that i already own typographic. i'm going to have to go grapple with that for a while..... ;)
The bottom left shade of the AWQ has an ever so slight shimmer. RSQs lightest shade is a very pale grey, while AWQ is a shimmery white, almost like
Crystal Avalanche. I also have Typographic and rationalized it with the fact that I can take the quad and just run on a weekend trip, and Typographic is
a useful enough shadow to justify having two.

Does anyone know any way of making it work?

Also, now I'm weary of trying out my other goodies (SS, RD & SK). Ay thoughts on which one to try next? I am NC20.

TIA!

w/Em, but I would first add exfoliation to that. I started using The Lip Scrub by Sara Happ and it changed my 'lipstick life.' You can opt to
make your own at home, but this iteration works for me. I have it in Vanilla Bean. So, try exfoliating and then moisturize, prime, blot, apply lipstick,
blot, more lipstick as Em described. ENJOY your new lippies!!!
Oh yeah!! Lol. I exfoliate w lemon and sugar lol... -Emma

That is really something to look forward to

And looking forward to playing with new goodies, always cheers us up, right???
I may try them just for the sake of it, without any other face make-up. It won't give me a completely accurate look but it'll give me a rough idea. On Wednesday though I plan on doing a full face and playing with RS, HJ, Flamingo & S&S! I'm so excited. It's cheered me up after a rough day.

Thank you though!

....Flamingo looks very beautiful on you, butterflyeyes!
I think Flamingo is my love of the week lol. I realized I hadn't given it any love since I swatched it so I tossed it on real quick after I got home from the gym (hence the no makeup pic lol). Such an easy color to put on and go! Might have a little bu skippers remorse lol

I'll have to take that advise too! I get lots if skins and lines that lipstick settles into. How often do you scrub?

In the morning and at night!
Wow ok!! I must get that then!! I asked at the airport for a lip scrub and none of the brands carried it, but the girl said the best was to use a toothbrush to scrub and then apply vaseline or some lip cream. I did that yesterday and my lips feel so sore from the scrubbing! I felt a bit worried, that perhaps I had overdone it, but I had SOO many skins!
I must get that scrub!!!!

Put The scrub on and let it rest for a bit before you scrub. And dont super rub it in like don't make yourself hurt! Let the stuff soften the lips 1st... -Emma

Yeah it's easy to overdo it with a toothbrush. Get a soft bristle one and do it after you're done brushing your teeth, when the toothpaste and water has softened your lips. Then apply balm.
