The quad is gorgeous but I am going to pass. Those colors tend to look very muddy on me. Will definitely get the liner and mascara though.

Interesting, yes...she did not care for the colors: "In my opinion, the color range is strange."

From what I've seen of them so far I disagree.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE ALL the shades (they did not get Affinite in) which is BEAUTIFUL!

Left to right in first pic & the same color order for single shots. Reverse order on my finger swatches. Sorry - it was cloudy rainy dark & my pics are a bit blurry. They may look bright to you in the pan & my finger swatches are heavy, but they blend out to gorgeous soft wearable shades.

Inspiration - Lovely slight rose baby pink, Presage - Pinky Coral Apricot (not muddy though), Revelation - Slight Peachy med. kinda vintage Pink, Fantastic - slight Burgundy Raspberry.

They are ALL amazing colors & texture. Very smooth texture - creamy & blendable. What I love is the color range as a collection because you can use one color as the first base application & then add a different pop of color just on the apples & they look amazing paired up. I used Inspiration up the cheekbone & the just a dab of the Fantastic on the apples & it was incredibly beautiful.

The quad IS beautiful in person & not so khaki. The 'taupe' shade is more of a gorgeous lighter grey shade. Loved that color. I did not get it but still may. I also got Elixir np which is a very beautiful rose med. pink. It is NOT milky pink

:thud: I am so excited to get my two blushes next week. I just found out they're at my local Nordstroms now and I had to resist the urge to go check them out today because I ordered them already. Gorgeous! Where the hell is the mascara, though? I've checked Nordstroms.com all day and I can't find it. I need it. OK, I don't need it, but you know. The shadow quad doesn't tempt me, but the darkest color is gorgeous.

They were missing an es & some lipsticks. They only had Secret - very pale. & Esprit - Its a beautiful rose raspberry shade which I will get. They are swatched at the top of my hand.

Hasard is this very pretty soft Lavender Mauve. I may get it. It was very pale & you had to swatch it a bit to show up. Its swatched between the burgundy blush swatch & the darker brown quad swatch. Yeah, you can hardly see it. Its one of those colors that could give that bruised look. I think it would be lovely layered over brown. I didn't care for the Khaki stylo. Its swatched under the lighter shine ls. They didn't have Mysterious & the other np was kind of meh to me.

Here are camera/store pics of the quad, blushes & stylo The very top es swatch is that taupe which is actually a pretty grey. I did not swatch the ivory color.

Shontay - I didn't see the mascara. The blushes are very pigmented but apply beautifully. Which 2 shades did you get?

Presage may scare some by how it looks in the pan, but it is VERY wearable & pretty on. Yep, Chanel knows how to do feminine color.

Actually (at least on my skin) the quad had barely any green cast to it. It has the Khaki green undertones in the pan, but does not really show up that way - at least on me.

Presage and Fantastic! I'm interested in Destiny, but I wonder if it'll just melt into my skin. Have to see it in person. I've heard good things about the blushes. I never doubt Chanel.

I guess I should have swatched that one too It appeared to be a carmel beige brown. You will love the 2 colors you got on. Fantastic is very beautiful & will look stunning on you

so will Presage. Presage has just the right undertone of slight pink/coral to work on everyone.
