Nope, me too. Colors are nice but not unique. I prefer powder
I'm another one not interested in them. Lipsticks ill always buy but since I'm not blush crazy and I have a pretty big collection already, it has to be a unique color/one I don't have. Out of these that would be the dark burgundy-ish one but I'd never wear that bc I'm so pale lol

I use and love cremeblushes/cremeblend blushes/CCBs as bases especially for MSFs und bronzers.
But also for all other powders/blushes.
I do never use bronzers on their own.Only with a cool toned base like a pink CCB e.g.
That is why I always need to have some of these products in my stash

Huge wet-one right back at ya

. You know I still had a soft pink hue on my cheeks after using my makeup remover. It didn't fully leave until I used

my Clarisonic w/an exfoliator.

It's very exciting to go through the last three pages here, lol. I think Chanel makeup is getting exciting since the summer collection, with the nail polishes. Spring was just all right, wasn't terribly exciting for me. Now with Les Beiges and Revelation just launched and both amazing, fall collection will be perfect. elegant - Thanks for the wonderful pics and reviews. I can't wait to see everything in person, but I'll have to wait for a month. I feel like getting all the cream blushes! I forgot to look at the Dior blush, I have to do it soon. I never really liked Dior duo blushes because I felt they were dry and lacking in pigment. But Petal is different. And I want the cream blushes too. bis - I can only get the baked quads so let's wait for it together! ;) I hope all the colours are smooth and pigmented like some of the newer quads.
Deal :) What's on your list for this collection?

I ordered 2 of the polishes yesterday from Nordstrom. I didn't want to miss out on double points. I'm waiting for my note to activate for the 3rd polish. I'm still planning to get the quad and mascara. But now thanks to elegant's swatches, I'm interested in the cream blush.

I haven't tried cream blush yet. I bought 2 NYX cream blushes months ago to experiment with and haven't opened them. I also bought 2 NARS cream blushes during their private sale and haven't tried them either. I finally decided to play with them after seeing elegant's pics to see if I wanted to get any of the Chanel cream blushes. I like them! The cream blush gives a tinted skin effect. It looks more like the color is part of my skin instead of sitting on the surface of my skin.

I tested NYX Orange on one cheek and NARS Enchanted on the other. I tried using my MAC 188 brush, but it wasn't dense enough. I just used my fingers to apply. I'll try the MAC 130 brush next time because I normally don't like having stuff on my fingers. The color of NARS Enchanted blended into my skin, but I could see gold sparkles. It's abeautiful highlight on my skin. The NARS cream blush also surprised me because it felt like a cream on my fingers, but didn't feel creamy on my face. I next layered NARS Taj Mahal over both blushes.

I'm definitely picking up at least 2 of the Chanel cream blushes after my little experiment. Presage and Fantastic. I have a feeling I may eventually end up with all six.

Honey, you NEED Fantastic!!! It will look so beautiful on you ;)

I just dab dab dab with my fingers. For a quick natural look, I like to see cream blushes just on the apples & then just slightly blended a little bit back the cheekbone. Its such a beautiful natural MU look.

Thanks for the swatches and review Elegant-one! The blushes don't look as creamy as Mac's Cremeblends which I have two of, so that makes them very interesting since I prefer less creamy blushes normally. I'm thinking about getting two, Presage and one of the pinks. I'm also liking the quad. I only have the Harmonie du Soir quad and would like to try another Chanel quad. The eyeliner is looking good too and I'm hoping the mascara will be great too.

After seeing Best Things in Beauty's blogpost with the lipstick swatches, I'm definitely getting the apricot lipstick and MIGHT get the burgundy if it looks great on me.

I thought about you when I fell in love with Amant lipstick. You & Duckrodeo wear reds so well & she ended up buying & loving it on. It would look amazing on you.

The pink cream blush that they were out of would look great on you. Heck, they would all look amazing on you.

I just put on some more Enchanted. I used my fingers again. Even though I don't like stuff on my hands, I think I prefer using my fingers for this type of product. Lol! You've doomed me! The cream blushes weren't even on my radar.

Boy now I'm unsure what to do. I had some Mac and Guerlain in my Nordstrom cart but now I want to add Chanel. The only thing is, I really like to see the whole collection together at the store. Anyone seen this collection in NYC yet?

So far I want:
-quad
-Presage blush
-khaki mascara
-Alchemie
-Mysterious
-Gri Gri
-liner

I love the look on the model. Dark Smokey eyes and orangey cheeks and lips. Any idea what lips she is wearing? I hope we get a breakdown soon.

Actually, you know what blush I would highly recommend for you - Dior's Rosy Glow in Petal 001

Its the most beautiful blush on - ever! It would look so lovely on you ;)

Fingers just give the cream blushes a more natural appearance. The MU artists always dab them on with their fingers too. I hear ya though, I don't like using my fingers in my mu or getting mu on my fingers either

You're tempting me with this as well. Med seems to be head over heels with this blush. Pinkdollface, your phrase applies perfectly here.

I love her swatches and I'm a regular reader of her blog, but I have noticed that her taste in colours leans very conservative. Although all the shades look very wearable, a lot of them are more intense than she might like. Personally, I'm happy to see a broader range of saturated colours.

Esprit shall be MINE. Not what I'd think from the description "burgundy", but intensely gorgeous.

Oh dear... now you have me wanting Petal...
I ordered Esprit. It was so beautiful in person. Very color saturated too.

Petal would absolutely be amazing on you

It gives the most gorgeous fresh flush of natural almost pale raspberry color. Its insanely fine milled & is incredibly skin enhancing. I bought 2 because I never ever want to be without it. I love it on so much that I'm thinking of getting a 3rd.

I didn't take a picture of it because it swatches so different than how it actually looks on the face.
