She was too nice to be tricking us, so I really think (hope..) we're good. No shipping notice for me yet though
If I get a cancel notice, I am going to call to talk directly to her. I know they hold back stock for replacements/defects. Not letting this day go to waste!

Thank you! Missed you too! I am doing well, just really busy with life. I got married back in 2011, moved cross country, trying to finish school and work. I am now a Sephora Product Consultant BUT had a MAC interview a month ago, haven't heard back yet. They told me to call tomorrow.

I keep checking my orders from earlier today (pre-launch). All are still pending. I am almost afraid to walk away from the computer for fear everything I placed today will get cancelled.

Finally got my post-12pm order in after 30 minutes.
My pre-12pm orders are "pending" under the "Order Status" tab in my mac account.
I don't know if the quantity you order has anything to do with it.
Before 12 pm I ordered just 1 Heaux and 2 Ririboys. They're still ok. Crossing my fingers.

CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR ORDERS! Mine was CANCELLED too. Well, F U MAC! I did reorder and in the f'ing "time frame!" They need to damn get their $hit together! SERIOUSLY MAC? You f'ing send me a text alert at 2:55pm? Then you wonder WHY peeps find the loopholes. Well, one good thing came out of this $hit-Us fellow Spectrites have each other's back! Thx for the warning about cancellations Spectrites.

3.5 hours later on and off in the waiting room and my friend and I both were unsuccesful. We started waiting at 11:30 and were on right at 12.

I will read back and see if any other Canadians had a problem...

Just to re-chime in on the fairness of the early orders...I get people not feeling like it's fair. It's not. BUT it's also not fair to punish customers for MAC's error. The page wasn't hacked by the customers or illegally tampered with in order to place the orders. Yes, I managed to place an order a little before noon but I went through the official release also just in case. If my original order is canceled I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with is if they cancel SOME orders but not all of the early ones (including mine). It should either be honor them all of cancel them all. I would feel terrible of my order wasn't canceled but some many others were...which is why I said I would let you all know so someone that missed out could get a second chance without being raped by the eBay poachers lol. MAC needs to get their stuff together. They aren't a new company trying to figure things out. They just seem too cheap to care about upping their systems and doing things right. Just my opinion.
Exactly. If they want to lecture someone calling in about being "fair", and then only go through and cancel a select few, where is the "fairness" in that. Completely hypocritical of them.

I got my 2nd order in after the official launch time, but it took me over 2 hours to do it and that was by luck when I went to sign in on my iphone to check the status of my order placed last night. It said i had items in my cart and let me go straight to checkout with my riri items. My window on my computer was STILL loading. I went to go take care of some things and the page went through but said the lipsticks were on backorder. I was in the waiting room by the time it went up, yet on my phone it only took about 5 minutes after signing in and this was like 2 hours after it launched! It's totally ridiculous and I honestly don't know if I can do a waiting room again. Not when they can't get everything responding correctly. In a real waiting room, there is order. This waiting room just seems like a joke and it doesn't matter what time you got in or who started waiting first.

What also pisses me off is that the customer service rep I talked with last night said my order would be fine. She saw a note on my account saying overnight was approved, and if anything my order just wouldn't ship until actual launch. I know better than to trust what CS says, BUT how do they get off changing their rules last minute after telling a customer one thing? Who knows...maybe half the people we speak with at MAC were just hired the day prior and don't know much at all. MAC should pride themselves in their CS department!

CS said they are canceling every single order that was placed before 12EST. Guess there was a lot and they wanted to cancel in time for ppl to still have the chance to order

I know me neither. Now I have a baby who crawls all over the place and doesn't give me a break, lol! I wanted to get Heaux but over this crazy ordering business I'm not even gonna try...Did your orders go through?

It says it did, well it's being processed. No cancellations yet. To be honest, I wasn't excited about this collection but I don't have Ruby Woo so I thought I try this one and I love purples so couldn't let that one go either. lol I wasn't feeling Heaux though from swatches. May be different in person. If it's still around, maybe I'll pick that one up too. I haven't bought MAC much lately. Maybe it's bc I work at Sephora now. Haha

Well I just got off the phone with CS and supposedly all orders placed before 12 noon EST will be cancelled. I am not even stressing this ish anymore. I can't be bothered
