Tried to get through 2000 posts and gave up...my order from last night was cancelled. Anyone else who placed an order last night or anytime before the official launch time should not wait for an email indicating cancellation because it won't come until later if ever, you need to check your order status on the website. And all these damn lurkers...geez.

Son of a biscuit eater, my order was indeed cancelled. MAC can suck it. And I am NOT reordering either, especially if you have to wait yet another MONTH to get it. Once my funds are released back to me, off to Nordstroms to get my NARS' AUTUMN LEAVES. My NARS' Damned and Burberry BRIGHT POPPY are fine substitutes. *flips hair*

My before launch time orders just got cancelled. Fine, whatever.

I just think it was a HUGE mishandling on their part in so many ways. If they wanted a solid launch time they should have warned people that they would only honor orders after the official launch time. They should have definitely shut down the website entirely since last night. And they should've RENTED SERVER SPACE for the launch. This is a thing that is possible.

ALSO It seems the whole reason for all the drama is that MAC is trying to "be fair" but they didn't even have a digital ticketing system! It is perfectly possible to program the site so that people are served in the order they access the site, but it was not happening at all! If it was the case, people's wait times would have been about the same and phones would not have been faster than computers. It's just totally novice errors that spell nothing but embarrassment for a company of their "caliber".

The lipsticks might come in and out of stock as they finish canceling all these orders that were placed before 12

Lol Im pretty sure I never acted like they were giggling holding onto my money. They let the cards run through... They shouldn't have even let that happen if they were going to cancel, is the point i was making.
this! It's not that hard to prevent.

Right!! Now I can't even reorder until they put my money back. I'm calling CS.
Yeah, it's almost like they're trying to teach us a lesson by holding monies so we can't reorder. Suckas!! Not everybody is willing to or can afford to pay for 2 of the same orders. The money for the order I placed for RiRi Woo that only took 12 minutes hasn't even been taken from me yet.

I'm just going to sit back and watch what happens between the rest of today and tomorrow before I get on the phone with their asses.

I agree 100000%.

One of my friends got on the website at the same two hours after the launch, and within FIVE minutes she was able to complete her order. She apparently did some trick where she opened another browser or tab or whatever...she placed TWO orders when I barely placed my first...and I was here right when it finally launched....

My pre-noon orders were finally cancelled. Took them long enough. I thought I slipped through the cracks since it was taking so long.

All of my early orders are cancelled. Oh well. I got 3 post-launch orders in that are all pending. It was all so haphazard though. I ended up with only 2 RiRi Woo backups, 3 RiRi Boys (not even sure how that happened, because I just wanted 1), 3 Heauxs (only wanted 2!), and lustre drops.

The extra RiRi Boys and Heauxs will go to CPs for people I know who want them. I might try for 2 more RiRi Woos while I can.

I keep checking to see if mine is going to be cancelled with all this hoopla. This is seriously just like purchasing Burning Man tickets....without the cancelled orders....

A friend of mine just texted me saying she just popped on and completed her order of RRB and Heaux in about 5 minutes. I aksed her if she got an message about a backorder and she said no.
