Wow, I'm still in denial. I've never had such issues with mac. I just can't believe this all happened.

early release cancellations, out of stock, back ordered unti july. WTF?

I need some serious cheering up. lol I don't even care about the makeup itself now. I'm disappointed at the way mac handled all of this.

I second that.mac took the fun out if it we should be talking about shipping notices but instead I can't get over how everything happened today

I cannot even DIGEST that you have a 32 year old son! IT really does go WAY TOO FAST! My son's action figure days are coming to an end too. It makes me sad. BUT the upside is he is now big enough to mow the lawn! So it has it's perks! LOL I'm sure your "little boy" is very spoiled by such a sweet and beautiful mother like you!

*~*ITA. I'm remembering why I stopped paying attention to the LE collections and stuck to buying perm items only. They create this hype, delay the first release almost 2 weeks, then make some items available for purchase, allow some people to purchase them early, then cancel some others that were purchased early, then it takes other people 3+ hours to place one order, but wait, there's a limit to 1 of each item per order, so if you want more than 1, you have to place another order. Just a huge headache. Smh*~*

I'll prolly give them the beat down at Estee Lauder Corp tomorrow.

I did tell MAC CS that this is a total embarrassment to them as a company. Doubt that they care.

Authorizations can take anywhere from 24-72 hours to drop off your account depending on your bank/credit card company's policy.

I just checked my bank account.. 3 mac orders temporary authorizations are pending.. they cancelled 2 of my orders, one with riri and the other with AAO items.. I never payed attention before, is this normal? If orders are cancelled should the pending status on my bank be cancelled too..  :shrugs:

After all the $hit I have endured about BOTH my orders being cancelled I am going to bed angry.All I know is MAC screwed up my order. I better get my stuff. I don't care if they have to pull my Heaux and RiRiBoy out of their a$$! LOL.

It just ain't right! I know I went from being excited to confused to indifferent to sad to mad to bordering on enraged. *~*Exactly, and I think that's the problem with releasing a collection at a specific time. Everyone was trying to place orders at once, and the servers were fried. There is no reason why it should take anyone hours to place an order online.*~*

YEP! I got off for lunch just before noon and I have one precious hour to myself. An hour during which I would have loved to, oh I don't know, get my mom's birthday present really quick but before long, my hour was up and so was my patience. I waited till I got off work before even thinking about trying again. My company is not terribly strict about phones but I wasn't about to sit and stare at internal error screens at my desk. This WHOLE collection release is just the biggest "cluster-cuss" (fantastic mr. Fox reference) I have ever seen in my life.

I did get my lippies (Heaux & RRB) and those luster drops because they would not leave my cart! The orders I placed before noon were indeed cancelled which I am glad about!
