Honestly, I agree. I'd rather pay more for way better products with good customer service. I've never had a bad experience with sephora. I was planning a TT order but I've completely changed my mind.
The only thing in the near future I wanted was the RRW lipglass, but forget it. I can find a red gloss anywhere.

I think MAC has had so many complaints about their collections being sold out quickly and then resold on Ebay for tonnes of money that they are trying as hard as possible to make sure it's ONE product for each address. Unfortunately there are many people legitimately ordering for a friend or family member. I do think it's fair that it's one per customer though because some people get lots of backups and then there aren't enough for the rest!
MAC hasn't dealt very well with this launch and I can understand why so many people are frustrated. They need to be careful that they honour their loyal customers! Even though their intentions can be honourable (they want everyone to have a chance) they can be harming their most faithful buyers!

This experience was so terrible. I hope my order that I placed after noon doesn't get cancelled. I ordered it through PayPal. Is there any of you that have had your orders that were placed after noon with pay pal cancelled? I'm not going to be happy until I get my shipping tracking number! This is BS! No one should have to wait hours for a collection.

GIrls- I'm not sure about the legal protocols- but where I 'm located if you establish a genuine relationship with a MAC SA from either a PRO store or even one of their department store sites-they do go out of their way to accommodate you-as in bagging aside orders prior to launch dates, This has been my experience now in 2 Cdn. provinces and 2 states in the US.
Have any of you similar experience? I know I'm not the only one where I've lived because sometimes the orders are so plentiful they are kept in bins below and behind the checkout counters. It might be be worth a try for all of you who have missed out on the online acquisitions.

:jawdrop:  ...I don't even know whats going on at MAC today. Like damn...I know Pixie was joking but are they gonna hire folks to run up on people's doorsteps like "Nope, sorry, you used the wrong link at the wrong time. This is OURS now." snatch the boxes and jump into a black escalade? Smh,

I know I'm hard on MAC but that's a level of disrespect even I didn't expect.  When a company starts refusing folks money and giving them the finger in the process, smh.
LMFAO @ snatch the box and jump into a black escalade!!!! That would make history....LMAO LMAO... No more scene plays please...lollll

I'll kick around this thread more for giggles, but I am done. Done. Who thinks I'm playing? This is a step too far and I don't give a damn what kinda collection they come up with. I'm not giving my money to this brand anymore. I have enough of it to last for years.
I am speechless.

How could a company this established be this asinine? Wow.

Maybe if Mac ever, ever gave us a straight answer when asked about le releases this wouldn't happen. They act like giving us correct info will be the downfall of humanity then punish us like 3 year olds when we misunderstand. Sorry, I'm just cheesed right off.

Oh lawd girl! That happened to me for the Nudes & Metallics collection! I ordered from the PRO store in Dallas, and they requested a signature confirmation. Well, I wasn't home at the time, so I called UPS to have them hold my package so I could pick it up.

Super looooong story short, I ended up at the UPS facility and camped out for about 3 hours until the driver got back in with my package. THEN they needed to speak to someone from the MAC PRO store to release MY PACKAGE TO ME. I told them I wasn't leaving without my package that night. And I didn't.

It was a total fiasco!

That was the short version... Good luck Shontay, and I hope you don't have to go through all of that.

Isn't that something? Sounds to me like Mac doesn't want my coins in the future. This is the final straw. I will be glad to oblige.

Again, that would be ok if MAC made that their policy but they just pick and chose at random what they want to do. They have always have a 4 item max, with riri it was 1 per order, 4 policy max until randomly they canceled orders. You can't flip flop. Pick a policy and stick with it or at least announce I prior to launch

This makes me wonder, do they want the other RiRi collections to fail? I mean, they pushed back the date from last week to this week. It's finally launch day & they release it early, cancels orders, & then many has been waiting in the waiting room for hours and even then, orders are getting cancelled. They really want to get rid of their loyal customers for some who only want the RiRi products.

This is a well-known practice that is just not applicable for on-line only collections, but as you state, could work for future in-store collection purchases.

I've been following this thread off and on for weeks, and I just wanted to thank all of you for making it easier to buy the stuff that I wanted from this collection! This release was absolutely nuts.
