Oh Man, please stop doing customer service reps this way.
I feel bad for the reps at MAC, there needs to be a direct line to the directors, marketers and etc... This is not the fault of the CS reps.
Have to agree here---they're people just like us. They don't make the policies and often are as confused as we are when changes are made on the fly
and not communicated in a clear and effective manner. Put the guns away, stop shooting the messengers and focus the ire where it belongs.

ahhh okay I didn't even see the link until page 147 or something. Doesn't matter where she got the link from. If there was a link then its Macs fault. If they wanted the launch to be "fair" then hire better IT

The international launch is in 12 hours... I'm trying to decide whether or not it'll be worth ordering or if I should just forget about this collection :/ the good thing is that the LE collections never sell out or take forever to (RiRi Woo is still available from it's first launch!)

I always tell the CS person up front that I know that its not their fault. However, the CS lady I got this morning started out a bit snippy about the board & the link.......till I straightened her out & then we had a decent conversation. She was all about blaming the customers right off the bat

I was NOT going to let her do that. She was pretty nice then after she actually listened to reason.

I am so surprised about all these CS horror stories on here. The ladies at Mac Canada CS are so lovely!

If I get a backordered email I will cancel. Could you imagine if they released this in stores!? It would have been like Black Friday

I will cancel also if I get a backorder notice. Honestly, I feel like this would have gone a lot smoother in stores. At least then you don't have all the technological hiccups like leaked links and gateway errors.

I called MAC CS this morning to ask why one of my post-launch orders (made around 1:30 PM EST) was cancelled.

As she pulled up my order info, the CS rep told me that MAC was trying to be fair to all customers and ensure that all customers get to own these products. She said orders with multiples of each item did get cancelled and even people that got shipping notifications for those orders will not get their orders.

When she saw my order (1 Heaux, 1 RRB), she could not tell me why it got cancelled. She apologized. Then she suggested that I place an order for backordered items and get them in July. I declined.

Honestly, it sounds like MAC just screwed up by canceling my "fairly" purchased order. I don't even have the energy to be mad. I am just so disappointed in MAC.

This just goes from bad to worse. You said 'one' of your post-launch orders was canceled. I hope you at least had one order that was processed and
is on its way to you. This is just so sickening.

I'm new to Specktra I joined about a month ago. I thought I would post more than I have but life with three kids has proved to be a bit of a challenge as of late. I think what Mac has done this time to you guys is wrong. I read this forum to get ideas of what I really want to spend my money on and you guys provide so much great information. I have limited funds so I have to be selective in what I buy and you guys are invaluable to me in that area. I just want you guys to know that most of newbies appreciate the info you guys bring to the table. I also ordered Heaux early around 11:20 est and it was cancelled no notification by email just found out by checking my order status around 5:30 est and saw that it was canceled. I reordered while trying get my kiddos reading for swim lessons which was crazy and that order is still pending. If it gets cancelled then oh well I can use the money elsewhere but I really kinda wanted this color.
