No one is telling anyone how to spend their money... I understand that some are ordering for other people BUT there are some who order 2,3,4 BUs for their OWN personal use. YES, MAC should change the amount of LE products they sell and their way of releasing LE products. HOWEVER, they have not. We all know this. We all know they stress that you only buy one of each product, yet some people choose to get greedy and order several BUs for THEMSELVES. These are the people I don't understand.

Well, in the end you only have yourself to look out for. You don't have any reason to sit back and leave something on the table that you think or know you're going to love just in the name of "fairness". We can sit here and say Oh, I'm sorry you missed out for whatever reason you missed out, but jump for joy that we got what we wanted and however many of it we wanted. That's just human nature. When I first started dabbling in makeup I didn't understand the idea of having 2 or 3 of the same thing. Even today, with my 4 RRW's it still makes me chuckle a bit. Still, things go on sale, it's fair game. Unless Mac sets a hard guideline for how much you can buy, no matter who you're buying it for then you are free to snatch it up. We can be friends here, but we don't have a responsibility to each other. We're not rationing out food during a zombie apocalypse.

I have a friend who missed out on Heroine the first time it came around. Gave her a BU for Christmas along with some other things. She wore that bad boy down so much that when it was re-released she bought all that she could(like 8

). So yeah BU's are definitely good.

I think the max I ever bought was 4 - 4 each of everything from the Barbie Collection.

I just want to chime in on the buying multiples and the fairness. Something that hasn't been mentioned is the fact that a lot of MUA's purchase MAC for their kits so the assumption that buying several bu's is pointless because they'll never be used and will end up in the clearance bin isn't necessarily true for the MUA's. Just something worth considering. But ultimately, if someone is allowed to purchase that amount then it's not unfair...they did what they were financially able to and MAC allowed them to do. I say all of this not because I tend to buy several of the same item (I actually don't...I don't tend to purchase LE items for kit use UNLESS it's specifically requested). I say it because I get why MUA's and even just makeup enthusiasts may want to horde items....especially LE items they may never get their hands on again. The real issue is MAC's low quantity releases disguised as "Limited Edition". But that's a topic that has been discussed numerous times. People are more inclined to buy more than they normally would with MAC because of this. Or risk having to decide if they will pay the ridiculous prices on EBay to snag the item if they really want it.

Hi y'all, trying to play catch up. 3 of my 4 orders were cancelled, with one still pending. 2 of the 4 were placed before 12 EST so I expected that. The one that's pending was placed a little before 3pm and it's the order that had the most items in it; two lippies, Riri Boy an Heaux and the blush/bronzer duo. My last order, for another Riri Boy, was cancelled and this one was placed at 5:30 EST. I called CS because I'm concerned as I used PayPal. I was told that the full three days of processing would be needed because over 100,000 people had placed orders during the launch yesterday. She said if I still had "pending" status by Friday, I should give them another call. If at least that one order doesn't go through Im going to be extremely pissed. I don't like how this whole debacle was handled by MAC at all.

It will be a completely different collection with only RRW being the constant item.

I guess they love what they are buying and don't mind having as many of that item as they want... It's the love for makeup... No harm done ;-)

im terrified! but then again i dun have any more money to get those on backorders if its cancelled anyway since mac decide to hold my money with the first cancelled order and the pending one, 60 bucks out of cash flow and no lippies!

I love ordering backups! I have a best friend and sister who aren't with the whole sold out thing. I wear something they love it and now they'd be shit out of luck. But usually I have 2 backups so then I can give them one. I don't buy backups of everything just things I know I'll like. I buy backups of permanent too so I don't have to go to the store. I don't understand the issue here. People are really that mad? You're complaining about the wrong thing. I don't get how you can get mad at people buying a LIMITED color for themselves?! Buying them to resell is different but now y'all are complaining about how much people but for their collections?! Wth is going on

So I've placed a total of 6 orders. 3 pre 3 post. All of my pre got cancelled. My 1st post shipped, my 2nd got cancelled and my 3rd (done at 6am bc my 2nd was cancelled) is pending. I'm just hoping my last one goes thru, even if my heaux comes in July.
