Deal :) What's on your list for this collection?
Mystere quad Gri gri eyeshadow Elixir nail polish Presage blush, to try the formula, and if I like it, I may go on to get more. Maybe Alchimie nail polish. Unsure about the lipsticks because I'm seeing swatches here and there. Just realize there isn't any lip glosses. What about your list?

You think. I haven't ordered the 2 singles yet, but I'm pretty sure that I will get them after seeing how they look on you ;)
Is bit of a guess on my part..since I fall on the other side of the color spectrum, and I only have your profile photo to go by :D :D but I saw the swatches on Best Things in Beauty: http://bestthingsinbeauty.blogspot.com/2013/06/chanel-ombre-essentielle-soft-touch.html and Hasard didn't look too good on her (she says so herself) :p

I think if you had to pick between the two..you might like Gri-Gri more than Hasard...but use Gri-Gri over some base (contrary to what BTIB suggests, i.e., using Gri-Gri as a base). Also, seems to me like she has swatched it rather heavily for it to show up like that on it's own. You would have to blend at least a bit around the edges when you use it on your eyelids, and I think it would hold up better if it was over a base shadow rather than just patted on heavily.... That apart, her swatches/photos of Gri-Gri are accurate.

BTiB is an awesome blog/blogger, and I hope I didn't come across as criticizing her...not my intention at all! Is just my opinion - a teeeeny bit different from what she shared..

Great, well-rounded list. :)

As for lipglosses, I think that was a good move. Spring and Summer had a certain look to them for Chanel this year, and I feel that omitting the typical "shiny and sheer" lipgloss formula was a good decision. After all, this collection seems to be dominated more by subtle shimmer, cream, and satin finishes, in which the lipglosses would have seemed unnecessary and may have gone ignored in favor of the multitude of lipsticks.

I want Gri-Gri and Fantastic from this collection:)

has it been released in Europe yet?
It'll be in Madrid the 16th August, so I was told at a Chanel counter yesterday.

Dear me.
Tis collection could break the bank.
The two es.
The quad.
The stylo.
And God Almighty only knows how many blushes.

Pretty close to yours: both singles, elixir nail polish and maybe the quad if I like the euro version. Not sure about the cream blushes. Fantastic looks very nice, buy i need another blush like a hole in my head ;) Also, esprit caught my eye, but then those shades always do ;) will swatch it though. :D Hope we get to see the collection soon.

I saw this blog review of Gri Gri
http://bestthingsinbeauty.blogspot.com.es/2013/06/chanel-ombre-essentielle-soft-touch.html

The collection's arrival date (16 August) seems a long way away!

Sorry for playing around with the blushes before taking pictures. I was impatient. Both Presage and Fantastic are very smooth and pigmented. Applying and blending was not hard at all. I tried with a brush first ( a Real Techniques buffing brush) and that was perfect. I tried my fingers on the other cheek and that was fine with depositing the color, but I really prefer a brush to blend it out. I know it'll look much better when I have foundation and my full face going so I really want to get to that. It is a good sign that they both worked well on my face without foundation. Presage, Fantastic (presage is a bit deeper in person (in the pan), but this picture is accurate otherwise.

@Elegant : very pretty RCS, thanks for sharing. It looks much more pigmented than the old version ( as much as the Avant-Première ones I think )
