RiRi Hearts MAC Summer Collection (June 18, 2013)

 my heaux arrived today and i stuck it in the freezer for a bit before swatching. when i first tried it on my lips, it wasn't giving me berry at all!! it was really red, like T's swatches. however, after a couple minutes, it oxidized and became a little more berry, but it still never looked as good as Karen from MABB or PrettyKitty. 

 I'm NC45 for reference, but I still don't know what my undertones are...still learning. I'm pretty disappointed now. I think I'll go out and get NARS Damned, since I've tried that before and really loved it...it definitely gives me the berry I was hoping heaux would.

I feel the same way about Heaux. It looks similar to RRB and RW on my lips. I am totally disappointed! I am NC50/NW45 for reference...Maybe I will try the NARS lipstick instead.

My order status went from processing to received (while others have been shipped already). I don't think that's a good sign...

Yep! MAC could take some notes. I feel like they act like this because they are more "affordable" but with their price increases... They are getting closer and closer to high end brands...it's worth it for me to just buy higher end and get better CS!

I know. I agree.I have no idea what they're thinking over there treating customers this way.

I always hold off on purchasing other higher-end brands products that I've been wanting so I can save for an upcoming MAC collection. I guess I'm going to start spending less with MAC now (after TT...haha!)

Mine is still "In Process"... I'm getting a bit worried. By now it's usually definitely In Warehouse or shipped.

MAC needs to use emoticons for their order statuses. WTF does "received" mean to a customer? It should say, "Warehouse is boxing it up! Get your FOTD ready!" with a smiley face.

when did you place your order bc I just checked mine and all 4 charges are on my account still. UGH

when did you place your order? I placed one for riri woo and heaux yesterday and they sent me an email saying heaux was backordered but riri woo had a label created for it.

I placed it at around 10:30am cst on Tuesday. Hope you get your money back soon!

Oh no, I'm so sorry it doesn't look like you hoped it would. Did you try to apply several layers? I like to rub the bullet a couple of times on my lips even if it's already pigmented after one swipe. It got darker on me with more layers. But I also saw a swatche were it was bright berry too, on very fair skin. You might want to try it with a dark lipliner like Nightmoth?

In my experience, if you get past "pending," you are good. Received means the warehouse got your order details. Processing means they are boxing it up. At least in my decade of MAC purchasing experience. This launch is so cray, I am not sure if my box will contain my lippies or if MAC is paying the UPS guy to wave the box in my face and drive away to make me feel worse.

See the UK must be different. We don't get "pending" we get "In Process", "In Warehouse" and "Despatched" -- that's it. They say that "In Process" usually means it's only in the system. Two days of "In Process" is unheard of for MAC, no matter what the collection has been other than the Marilyn one -- and fml that was a nightmare. I put in a major complaint over CS for that one.

Careful with your bank though -- that's how my money just vanished!  MAC refund gone wrong, smh.  MAC took a double payment, I got the bank to refund it -- then because I didn't receive papers they sent for me to sign and send back, they took the money again.  I've spoken to 8 different people today, all to try and get this damn money back and I won't have it until Monday now.  Smh.  I'm fed up of CS all over the place.  MAC, banks, etc.  Can all just do one.

My bank is pretty good with their procedure. They actually don't mail papers for the customer to sign. You can initiate a dispute online and they mail you a paper that alerts you to the temporary refund while they investigate the situation and another one to advise you that the temp refund has become permanent.

I'm scared about getting Heaux. I don't recall seeing a full face picture of it on someone fair yet. This standard shipping is killin' me. (But I'm thankful my order's out already and I'm not still playing a waiting game with MAC).

Agree. I am thinking about going back to Sephora and Nordstrom...
