Me too!
I'm in the same boat, I'm interested in Adored and Rio but I would be looking to use them as blushes and I don't want them to be too shiny since I already have oily skin. A lot of people said that Stereo Rose was too metallic too and I use that as a blush all the time and don't find it metallic at all, just glowyI am so curious about these MSF's. I am also unsure of how they will actually look on the skin. I thought Adored might be a safe bet, but when I looked at the swatch, it seemed as though it could end up looking chalky. That would be a very bad thing. If it's too bronze, then that won't work for as a highlighter. Super frosty or sparkle city isn't what I am looking for either. Last, but not least, is how metallic will this end up being (used with a 159)? A little I can handle, but I don't want to be worrying about "how does it look from this angle" all day long either!
Me too! Yessss. Are you?Anyone getting all three MSF's???
With my luck I'll get one with a sliver of orange in it. That looks like one I'd be content with!http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-M-A-C-Summer-2013-TROPICAL-TABOO-EXOTIC-EMBER-Mineralize-Blush-GET-IT-FIRST-/221240887383 exotic ember on ebay looks so orange...
Currently yes! But I have petticoat and blonde so I'm nervous they'll be so similar :/Yessss. Are you?
These MSFs are not like Stereo Rose - Stereo Rose has so much more color in its base. Also, Stereo Rose's metallicness doesn't come out full force unless you apply it wet. These are as metallic dry as older MSFs are wet, but they're also much much sheerer in a single layer too. They're just a lot lighter texture.I'm in the same boat, I'm interested in Adored and Rio but I would be looking to use them as blushes and I don't want them to be too shiny since I already have oily skin. Based on above, Rio will work. Lust I believe Liba said was a no go due to ashiness?I have a major dilemma here. I Really want to get Rio and Lust (I'm NW45) and after seeing swatches on someone that is a lot lighter than i am I'm a little hesitant to purchase them b/c I would have to purchase them online. Help me?
Liba, From the pic someone had posted a little while ago, Adored looked kind of chalky. They did mention they had to swipe it about three or four tiems for it to show up better on the skin. Would you happen to know if it is comaparable to NARS Albtaross, as far as sheerness is concerned? Thanks so much for all your help throughout this thread! It's a highlighter - it's sheer. It doesn't have a blush-like pigmented base color. None of them do, exempt Lust and even that one is barely pigmented, more frosted. Not that I can recall........maybe!
Did Nordies ever release a collection?
Hmm maybe I'll just stick to Adored and see if I like that one before getting Rio. I can always wear it over a matte blushIt's a highlighter - it's sheer.
