Wow Pixie. I'm really sorry to hear that Mac really dropped the ball here.

I ordered one Heaux and it got canceled without my knowledge. I then ordered another one when it was still in stock and it came up as a Riri Boy, which I know for a fact I pushed for Heaux instead. I didn't want RRB, so the best CS could do was cancel the order. I have never seen anything like this from Mac before.

NO! Just terrible.

I have no idea what I will even end up getting.

Ok, so my order isn't slated to arrive until tuesday, and after all these horror stories about melted and broken products... I'm scared as hell. It's been hot in Cali, and my lippies have been traveling for a few days in the back of a truck across the hot ass south to get here too

Thanks girl! I haven't ever had this sort of problem either. I guess it wasn't meant to be. I will just have to love the lippies that love me back! HeeHee We could always get that matte lip stuff I've heard about on this thread and matte-up our dupes. It might "slightly" ease the pain. I would like my RiRi launch day back please MAC.

so I'm going to see if he can deliver first thing in the morning instead of driving around with it in the heat. We're always the last delivery on the route

When your best friend gets the thing you wanted for Christmas but didn't get yourself... and it somehow is just as cool to see her enjoying it! Makes it a little easier to handle. So I'd love to hear that you are loving these like some of our other Specktrettes!

The first launch or the second one? I don't remember Marilyn being so difficult. Maybe it's because I got what I want pretty easily.

I did too, but I remember a lot of shenanigans during the first launch. Lots of people were disappointed.

I meant to tell you too (could find the post at the time) yes yes yes...boys...yep they eat everything in the house. Complete consumption. They also break everything.

And the driving thing

let's just say that I did NOT do well, but I did survive. And then College...

I haven't even checked if my initial canceled order has been refunded to my PayPal/Bill Me Later account (I have BML attached to PayPal as my funding source versus my bank or CC so that's why I haven't noticed). Better go check.

Nah i think this one is worse than MM, by eons

I missed the initial MM release (by choice) so I have no clue about how messy it was. I ordered Pure Zen, Charmed I'm Sure, & Deeply Adored from Macy's during the recent re-release. CIS & DA arrived a little damaged but Macy's sent me replacements immediately. So I'm glad I skipped the original release if it was messy at all!

I honestly doubt the lipsticks will be at Aveda. They have their own lipsticks. And while both MAC and Aveda are Under the EL umbrella, they wouldn't be selling each others' products. I thin it's just another effed up glitch on MAC's end.

This launch was such a disaster......cancellations, back orders, damaged products....... Has there ever been a collection as messy as this one?

Marilyn Monroe might have been worse.

Unfortunately not. Returns from online purchases can only be returned thru the mail.

My son is crazy but super cute... so he gets away with murder! Little devil! HeeHee

At this point I really feel deflated over this collection. Whatever MAC does or does not do is fine with me. I got so excited the letdown was sad. I don't want to get my hopes up again that I might get something and then not. I just re-read this sentence and it seems like I'm talking about a devastating breakup! LOL Trying to keep reminding myself it's JUST lipstick! And in a few months I'll be over the hype for these and onto the next... so I just need to push the Fast Forward button and move on already!

I'm going to need an update on your RRB! It better be nice and firm! HeeHee just like a boy should be!

If you have 2 extra Heaux lippies I'm sure you will have some very interested buyers wanting to take them off your hands! I still can't decide if I'm going to keep HB or not. Haven't swatched it or anything...just not sure if I want it or if I want to go through the hassle of sending it back lol
