ahah I did that too!I couldn't decide so I ordered both!
I eventually gave up MSFN for Careblend. MSFN would eventually feel like a "coating" on my skin as the day would go on, while I never get that from Careblend. I also prefer Careblend because the finish is a little more casual looking than MSFN, which looks a little more business-like and dressy for my tastes. I also use it under the eyes - it's got a very slightly reflective quality that perks up my dumb under-eye bags. I've got very dry skin, but I think Careblend would be OK for oily skin too - not because it would have blotting power, but because over time it would be very gentle on reactive skin and might help aid the skin to re-balance itself and respond to skincare and diet changed meant to calm down oil production. It's a very gentle product.I used to use the Studio Fix powder on a daily basis. It made my skin look very nice, though the heavier coverage means that it looks a lot less natural so I now use it only for spot coverage really when I absolutely need it. Otherwise, I use MSFN daily for spot coverage (I don't use foundation, only concealer and I set it with MSFN). I also own Careblend and I think that its only special point is that it has a very moist texture when you apply it on. For that reason, when I have exceptionally dry patches from time to time such as on the tip of my nose, I will use Careblend to set instead of MSFN. Also Careblend is great for setting undereye concealer- it doesn't crease. But for oil control in summer, Blot is hands down the best. I have combination skin and Blot on its own lasts about 4-5 hours before some shine shows through (I personally prefer a semi-matte finish to a dewy finish). However, when I use it on top of Prep and Prime Skin Refined Zone applied on the T-zone, I don't even need to touch my makeup the entire day, even in a hot and humid climate.
There can never be too many purples!!!Lol. Yep I am. Seductive intent, strong woman, heroine, lavender whip, RRB, Feel My Pulse. That's too many purples. Lol.
I think it's because MAC cannot resist toying with us, just a little. Why are the blushes coming soon again?
You should be fine with Adored - it's got a pale base color, but it's also very sheer. If you can get away with WoG, you ought to be good with Adored, although that base beige is a bit olive/khaki. WoG is a clearer pale gold. The coral hightlight is so pretty and unique! The only thing is it might be a strong contrast on deep skin, but I don't think it will be difficultly ashy - just contrasty.I couldn't decide so I ordered both!
lolI guess she's back on their pooh list lol
Lust looks gorgeous! MM does look just like FMP just more sheer.... I do like the formulation of mineralized lipsticks tho... May end up picking it up!Did we see Beautezine's swatches yet? http://www.beautezine.com/sneak-peek-at-the-mac-tropical-taboo-collection-for-summer-2013/
I have a brand new one in my clearance bin. I bought a backup but I really don't need 2 FMPThink I like FMP better than MM. The secret site is out of FMP. Anyone know of anywhere else it is?
Your picture makes you look on the NW side, while I'm far into the NC side of NC15.Liba, you keep making me want to order EE!
