I hope Temptalia uploads her review soon so I can make up my mind on midnight mambo :/
She said on FB : 'MAC Tropical Taboo is online! Just bought 1 of everything + overnight shipping, hope to have swatches late tomorrow. Sorry I don't have anything for you now.'

I used to use the Studio Fix powder on a daily basis. It made my skin look very nice, though the heavier coverage means that it looks a lot less natural so I now use it only for spot coverage really when I absolutely need it. Otherwise, I use MSFN daily for spot coverage (I don't use foundation, only concealer and I set it with MSFN). I also own Careblend and I think that its only special point is that it has a very moist texture when you apply it on. For that reason, when I have exceptionally dry patches from time to time such as on the tip of my nose, I will use Careblend to set instead of MSFN. Also Careblend is great for setting undereye concealer- it doesn't crease. But for oil control in summer, Blot is hands down the best. I have combination skin and Blot on its own lasts about 4-5 hours before some shine shows through (I personally prefer a semi-matte finish to a dewy finish). However, when I use it on top of Prep and Prime Skin Refined Zone applied on the T-zone, I don't even need to touch my makeup the entire day, even in a hot and humid climate.
I eventually gave up MSFN for Careblend. MSFN would eventually feel like a "coating" on my skin as the day would go on, while I never get that from Careblend. I also prefer Careblend because the finish is a little more casual looking than MSFN, which looks a little more business-like and dressy for my tastes. I also use it under the eyes - it's got a very slightly reflective quality that perks up my dumb under-eye bags. I've got very dry skin, but I think Careblend would be OK for oily skin too - not because it would have blotting power, but because over time it would be very gentle on reactive skin and might help aid the skin to re-balance itself and respond to skincare and diet changed meant to calm down oil production. It's a very gentle product.

Thank you both. Sadly, I don't think I can justify the extra £6 for either the 188 or the 150 at the moment. I can't even justify what I'm spending on TT, but I'll do it anyway. I'll definitely put them on my list and perhaps buy them later in the summer when there's not so much from collections that I want. For the moment, perhaps the size and the fluffiness of the RT brush which I've hated for blush will make it better suited for bronzer. Maybe I'll get one of the blush brushes instead... unless, of course, I'm sidetracked by the blushes themselves. Oh dear... From being someone who never wore blush, blush has become one of my major makeup weaknesses.

Who all is holding out to swatch in person? I'm holding out on the blushes to see how they look on my skin. I went ahead and ordered Adored and Rio MSF because I couldnt resist THAT much.

You should be fine with Adored - it's got a pale base color, but it's also very sheer. If you can get away with WoG, you ought to be good with Adored, although that base beige is a bit olive/khaki. WoG is a clearer pale gold. The coral hightlight is so pretty and unique! The only thing is it might be a strong contrast on deep skin, but I don't think it will be difficultly ashy - just contrasty.

Lust looks gorgeous! MM does look just like FMP just more sheer.... I do like the formulation of mineralized lipsticks tho... May end up picking it up!
Think I like FMP better than MM. The secret site is out of FMP. Anyone know of anywhere else it is?
I have a brand new one in my clearance bin. I bought a backup but I really don't need 2 FMP

Ugh now I find myself wanting to try the skin finishes and blushes since I never tried mineralized products. I have no idea what to get.

Liba, you keep making me want to order EE!
Your picture makes you look on the NW side, while I'm far into the NC side of NC15.

Here's the question to ask yourself: Do you love the way Earthshine MSF looks on you or does it look too muddy? If it looks great, you don't need EE. If it was unworkably muddy for you, EE will fit the bill and do all the things you wished Earthshine would have done. If you don't have Earthshine and can't compare, you'd be a lot safer to try it in person before you buy - it won't be flying off the store shelves.

If you're very NW with red cheeks, the orange in EE is going to come out much more, maybe too much. Also, I think it's the sort of blush that will look much better over bare skin or very sheer foundation, rather than over heavier coverage foundation, so it may be a skip depending on your regular foundation habits.

Also, just remember, unlike Earthshine, EE has a lot of white pigment mixed into the orange part and that's gonna be trouble with deep skin. It's definitely one of the pickiest MBs in a long time, but if you're fair to medium and leaning towards olive or sallow, it's just phenomenally sexy.
