Oh my goodness...I cannot believe MAC CS hboy: I called a bit ago to ask if they were going to take the blushes off of the Coming Soon & at first, he says they are sold out. I said no they aren't they were changing things because the descriptions were wrong. I told him that people had ordered them earlier & called to tell CS that the description/pictures were wrong...he rudely says, 'you cannot believe what you read on those sites on the internet' :shock: :huh: 'if it doesn't come from MAC Corporate than it isn't true' :thud:   I said 'dude....I know these people that ordered them & they are not liars, what an insult to say that about them!' So he puts me on hold goes to check..............bingo, he learns that what I told him was right. So I said well, MAC Corporate didn't know they were switched, the liars on the internet did (tongue in cheek). :haha: Anyhoo, now they have to check inventory on them. Probably because they were screwed up :worms:

Your picture makes you look on the NW side, while I'm far into the NC side of NC15.

Here's the question to ask yourself: Do you love the way Earthshine MSF looks on you or does it look too muddy? If it looks great, you don't need EE. If it was unworkably muddy for you, EE will fit the bill and do all the things you wished Earthshine would have done. If you don't have Earthshine and can't compare, you'd be a lot safer to try it in person before you buy - it won't be flying off the store shelves.

If you're very NW with red cheeks, the orange in EE is going to come out much more, maybe too much. Also, I think it's the sort of blush that will look much better over bare skin or very sheer foundation, rather than over heavier coverage foundation, so it may be a skip depending on your regular foundation habits.

Also, just remember, unlike Earthshine, EE has a lot of white pigment mixed into the orange part and that's gonna be trouble with deep skin. It's definitely one of the pickiest MBs in a long time, but if you're fair to medium and leaning towards olive or sallow, it's just phenomenally sexy.

There's a filter on my avatar, so that's probably changing my skin tone a bit. I've been told at MAC &Sephora that I'm actually pretty neutral. Most foundations are either a bit too pink or yellow for me. BUT, they give me NC15 at MAC or match me with warmer foundations (like NARS Gobi if you're familiar with NARS shades) at Sephora.

I want to love Earthshine, but on me it is kind of hard. It does tend to make me look kind of muddy :l It's just so pretty (I don't want to get rid of it...haha). You've given me a lot to consider when it comes to whether I should pick it up or not now.

I can't wait to see the picture you plan to show us of it!

I've finally got around to giving my UD spray a chance (it's Skindinavia repackaged for Urban Decay)...finally think I like it. I've never used Fix+ as a setting spray on myself. Never think about it...and to be honest I forget I have the bottle!

Oh yes that All nighter spray is everything but it's much more expensive than the Skindinavia. Plus when you order directly from their site they send a travel size bottle with your order so I figure it's worth it. They always send me deals too. I got an email for 15% off today actually (valid thru 6/26- SUMMER15 is the code if anyone is interested). I don't really use Fix plus as a setting spray. I use more a a hydrater or refresher and before I blend everything out.

Something similar happened to me with the blushes released at the end of 2012--Poised and Taupe Shape. They were "sold out" on the first moment of release. A few people were able to order them through the blush page, not not too many.

I emailed, called, chatted, got the same types of responses. Those were NOT hyped blushes at all--not a big deal to most ppl but I'd seen them from MAC Fashion Week coverage and wanted them. I could not believe they sold out.

After I called around and got them shipped (there was healthy stock in the stores), the blushes appeared on the site. Apparently, stock was NOT the issue--I think they were in stock for weeks (months, really) on MAC's site once they figured things out. They just messed up the release.

Elegant, did Corp. ever call you about RIri? I keep my eye on that thread to see whether they might have. LOL--well, early this morning I thought they'd straightened this out--now this. What a mess!

I had a similar experience with the german CS when they cancelled my 226 brush order with the Make me Over collection. I knew for a fact that people who orderd like 30 minutes after me got the brush while I didn't. The CS lady didn't believe me and was laughing it off, saying it's impossible and that those people probably lied.

I think it's funny that Time to Tango is listed as Time and Tango. They make so much money, yet someone is making errors like that and they still haven't fixed it? Weird. Or maybe it really is Time and Tango? Hmmm. Now I'm curious.
