I agree, I love sparkles too! I have so many dazzleglasses and all the Style Black MES just because I thought the glitter power was awesome. Though I have to admit that these days if I am wearing a sparkly something, the rest of my face is pretty much satin or matte. Anyway, it looks like the same amount of sparkle from some earlier MSFs. In any case it couldn't be as bad as New Vegas. I went through so much effort to swap for it, used it twice and then put it back up for swap again. Just didn't really like how gritty it looked, though I probably should have buffed it. To be honest, I think that the 159 brush might actually be good at NOT picking up the sparkles because I know that my MES glitters somehow get lost in the bristles of my 286 and 287 brushes.

The sparkles definitely get toned down with a brush! The MUA at MAC put it on me and they werent as extreme, definitely still there but didnt feel gritty or anything on the skin, I could just see them catch the light!

Adored, top to bottom: blended, beige part, coral part. Pictured dont show off the pretty sheen. I accidently went to my counter today and backed this up. When applied lightly to my cheek bones it doesnt give off any color, just sheen which i love! Has anyone else noticed adored to be a bit powdery, not chalky, but when i swipe my brush in it, it kicks up a lot of loose powder?

I caved and picked up Simmer when I stopped by my MAC counter today to get Heroine l/l. The bottom swatch is the 2 colors mixed. Wish the MAC site had fixed the "coming soon" situation so I could have used my pro discount lol. But because of Ernie I caved and ordered Adored, Lust, and the 159 brush (did that before I went to the MAC counter). Went ahead and paid for overnight shipping (kinda sad that the pros get excluded in that code!) so I wouldn't have to worry about the holiday next week messing things up. Fingers crossed I manage to get it tomorrow since I ordered so early in the morning.

Yes. The first time I put my 159 in it I wasn't expecting that, so all of this loose powder came up. More of a reason for me to have backed it up! I feel like it wastes product that way. I have to be more careful when picking up product. I also backed it up before the overnight code expired. Loveeee it!

I forgot to ask you this, do the sparkles come with the lighter veins or the darker veins? That way I can mentally prepare to pick the sort of veining I want, just like I know that I will be getting a Simmer with very few peach patches because I want a berry blush!

I also held off on buying the 159 because I'm confident that I don't need a special brush to use these. (Besides I just spent an additional large chunk of cash buying clothes, so....XD)

When I look at it, it's almost difficult to tell! I want t say its all throughout but I can see the sparkle more concentrated in the darker veining!

Rio and Adored are very metallic while Lust is a sparkly metallic.

LOL I hate thunderstorms they freak me out. Its was heavy rain & very dark clouds when I went. I was just hoping it wouldn't hail.

I wore Rio lightly up the top cheekbone over Dior Capri cream blush & then tried it over Dior 001 pink bronzer

This looks amazing & makes them waaaaaay more wearable for those of us that don't care for the metallic appearance. Wearing them slightly over a blush gives the prettiest slight sheen. Beautiful

Finally opened my Narcissus today and I am in LOVE! It's so creamy and smooth and has so much awesomeness! (This eye look is not for the lippie lol I just wanted to hurry try it on)

Thanks a bunch KrystalAnne. Sometimes it's hard tp predict what will end up at CCOs. I could be dead wrong, but I'm not getting the sense that there's as much passion surrounding this collection like we've seen for some others. Maybe it's 'MAC Fatigue' on the heels of the whole RiRi debacle.

You're getting me so stoked over the #159. Wish I could help you with the MESs but I passed on them----I just don't find that I reach for the one/two that I have.

I'm still excited to get Adored and all.. But I found out the 3 new MSF's of the collection only have 7g rather than the usual 10.. That's disappointed me if I'm honest, just that you would think them to be 10g along with the 2 permanent in the collection.. It just means the one you can't buy again and again is going to run out faster :/ Xx

I can't wait to get my orders. I already have my 159 brushes, so just waiting for everything else. I've never hoarded any makeup like i have Narcissus. Definitely will not experience skipper's remorse with that baby!
