Ordered midnight mambo from site which won't be named... I couldn't stand for my lone chicory lip pencil to travel solo...so thats how midnight mambo was chosen. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
it just looks so ashy on my skin and then if I just use the bronze side you can't even see it . def wasted 30$wait, why? i just picked this up today but haven't worn it yet?
Finally opened my Narcissus today and I am in LOVE! It's so creamy and smooth and has so much awesomeness! (This eye look is not for the lippie lol I just wanted to hurry try it on)
Yes!!Adored, top to bottom: blended, beige part, coral part. Pictured dont show off the pretty sheen. I accidently went to my counter today and backed this up. When applied lightly to my cheek bones it doesnt give off any color, just sheen which i love! Has anyone else noticed adored to be a bit powdery, not chalky, but when i swipe my brush in it, it kicks up a lot of loose powder?
You may have already gotten your answer, i've got about 375 more messages to read, but...I have & love the 131 brush but its only used for Elude - nothing else is allowed to touch it How does the 159 differ - they look similar
Will most likely BU every thing! I'm officially Team Narcissus! The CSG formula is my favorite. So I will look into Calypso Beat as well.
You won't regret getting Blackline. It is one of my favourite pearlglides. In fact I think I have purchased almost very single pearlglides that they have every released (except for Miss Fortune which was a pinkish shade that I knew would look awful on me). By the way what is your foundation shade? I am still trying to look for my skin twin here...I also compared blackline to Orpheus. Its greener than Orpheus, but does not smudge at all. The wear is incredible so I picked it up.
I actually compared Adored and Definitely Defined and they were kinda similar. I love both so i don't care :haha:Anyone that is lucky enough to have Adored already, could you name some dupes!? Xx
How in the hell...!?Ordered a heroine lip liner and it came melted. Blah, I guess I won't be ordering anything else that can melts until this heat is over with.
I'm still excited to get Adored and all.. But I found out the 3 new MSF's of the collection only have 7g rather than the usual 10.. That's disappointed me if I'm honest, just that you would think them to be 10g along with the 2 permanent in the collection.. It just means the one you can't buy again and again is going to run out faster :/ Xx
Again, there is NOT less product in these MSFs. They contain the exact same amount of product.I forgot there was less product in these than normal... Makes me want to get a bu of lust cuz it's gorgeous but idk. Grrrr. I have to stay off specktra I tell you!! Lol!
I own these brushes as well so here is how i use them: 130: stippling to blend out concealer and to apply Mineralize SPF15 (the cream in the compact) 131: swiping back and forth to blend out Armani Maestro (very fluid "foundation"). Didn't like this brush at all up until quite recently because I had been using it to apply pigmented blushes but preferred using a fan brush instead. 187: buffing motion to apply cream bronzer or Lustre drops over a large area. Also use it to stipple all over in order to sheer out powders after spritzing Fix Plus. 188: swiping back and forth over to blend out Lustre drops over cheek bones and t-zone. Also use it to blend out concealer sometimes when I cannot find my 130. I prefer the 130 for this though because I like "pressing" in my concealer. The 188 is a bit too flexible to stipple. Also tried using this to apply gel blush but couldn't master the technique so I had quite a concentrate colour on my apples. Sort of gave up on gel blushes altogether afterwards. I intend to get the 159. Haven't figured out how and where I am going to use it but it will eventually come to me... Even if it takes 4 years to figure things out like I did with my 131 (bought it with Colour Craft.) I put it up for swap but thank goodness I have been picky because I love it now!You may have already gotten your answer, i've got about 375 more messages to read, but... I have the 131 - which i use for cream and ED products - and the 188 - which i use for most blushes, highlighters, and Mineralize face products. I don't have the 187, which is too big for my purposes, but have seen it often. All three are all round brushes. The 159 Duo Fibre is almost flat, although not quite a paddle brush. I'm thinking of getting a BU! EDIT: Ooops! I have the 130, which i use as described and which is round. Not the 131. Ignore what i wrote. Sorry!
