Ordered midnight mambo from site which won't be named... I couldn't stand for my lone chicory lip pencil to travel solo...so thats how midnight mambo was chosen. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Very top: Exotic Ember- did not like on me Middle: Rio (pretty but not a must have for me) Bottom left: sweet Samba -pretty Middle bottom: heroine ll Middle right: midnight mambo - I liked it! But ultimately a skip for me. Went to Mac after work. They only received 2 heroine lip liners and I got the last one! Anyways, the collection is pretty but nothing really stood out to me. I also compared blackline to Orpheus. Its greener than Orpheus, but does not smudge at all. The wear is incredible so I picked it up.

Black Line is on left, Orpheus on right. Also tried out Bossa Blue. Pretty but I knew I wouldn't wear it so I skipped

Bossa Blue on bottom. Sorry, I'm on my phone and the quality is not so good

Adored, top to bottom: blended, beige part, coral part. Pictured dont show off the pretty sheen. I accidently went to my counter today and backed this up. When applied lightly to my cheek bones it doesnt give off any color, just sheen which i love! Has anyone else noticed adored to be a bit powdery, not chalky, but when i swipe my brush in it, it kicks up a lot of loose powder?
Yes!!

I have & love the 131 brush but its only used for Elude - nothing else is allowed to touch it ;) How does the 159 differ - they look similar
You may have already gotten your answer, i've got about 375 more messages to read, but...

I have the 131 - which i use for cream and ED products - and the 188 - which i use for most blushes, highlighters, and Mineralize face products. I don't have the 187, which is too big for my purposes, but have seen it often. All three are all round brushes. The 159 Duo Fibre is almost flat, although not quite a paddle brush. I'm thinking of getting a BU!

EDIT: Ooops! I have the 130, which i use as described and which is round. Not the 131. Ignore what i wrote. Sorry!

Will most likely BU every thing! I'm officially Team Narcissus! :cheer: The CSG formula is my favorite. So I will look into Calypso Beat as well.

I might change my mind on the MSF's.... what does everyone think who has them? Are they must have? I am NW20 skin for reference.

Oh, these MSFs are soooo not "meh"! Each has a very special finish which just does NOT translate in still photos. You really need see them in person and try them on. They are quite unlike previous ones. I can usually hold out for one or so, but i ended up getting two and am having some skipper's remorse for the third... and that's a rare thing for me.

The blushes are different, too, although slightly closer to their photos.

On the other hand, i think the eyeshadows are not so different from previous MES. I got three, but i don't think they're "must haves".

Now, i don't mean to be an enabler. If you think you have enough, well, heck, i know i have too many, so if you want to skip, i will support your desire.

You won't regret getting Blackline. It is one of my favourite pearlglides. In fact I think I have purchased almost very single pearlglides that they have every released (except for Miss Fortune which was a pinkish shade that I knew would look awful on me). By the way what is your foundation shade? I am still trying to look for my skin twin here...

I know I should introduce myself in the welcome forum, but with all the excitement on this topic, I'll just kill two birds and say "hey"

I've been obsessing this site for quite some time, such nice people who love makeup! It's a great place to get ideas, or check out swatches, so I must thank all of you who are so good at capturing the beauty of it all!! I wasn't sure what I'd get today, but I knew it would involve MSFs! At first I wanted the blushes, but I have enough of those for a lifetime and none of the colors really made me swoon, so I ended up choosing Rio and Adored!! I love them both, Adored will make a very pretty highlighter/delicate blush on me, and Rio I can use as a blush, or I might top it over other blushes, I love Rio, mine is sort of half and half, so I can add more bronze here and there if I want! It sort of reminds me of Benefit 10 boxed blush. I love how soft and fine they are, really nice texture!

That's all I got today, I have 3 MES from the Heavenly Creatures so I didn't want anymore of those! Nice to meet you all and I will be around...

It's a bit late, but there were only two of us waiting outside my local MAC, and the other woman had been waiting for All About Orange with me.

Anyone that is lucky enough to have Adored already, could you name some dupes!? :) Xx
I actually compared Adored and Definitely Defined and they were kinda similar. I love both so i don't care :haha:
Ordered a heroine lip liner and it came melted. Blah, I guess I won't be ordering anything else that can melts until this heat is over with.
How in the hell...!?
I'm still excited to get Adored and all.. But I found out the 3 new MSF's of the collection only have 7g rather than the usual 10.. That's disappointed me if I'm honest, just that you would think them to be 10g along with the 2 permanent in the collection.. It just means the one you can't buy again and again is going to run out faster :/ Xx
I forgot there was less product in these than normal... Makes me want to get a bu of lust cuz it's gorgeous but idk. Grrrr. I have to stay off specktra I tell you!! Lol!
Again, there is NOT less product in these MSFs. They contain the exact same amount of product.

I own these brushes as well so here is how i use them: 130: stippling to blend out concealer and to apply Mineralize SPF15 (the cream in the compact) 131: swiping back and forth to blend out Armani Maestro (very fluid "foundation"). Didn't like this brush at all up until quite recently because I had been using it to apply pigmented blushes but preferred using a fan brush instead. 187: buffing motion to apply cream bronzer or Lustre drops over a large area. Also use it to stipple all over in order to sheer out powders after spritzing Fix Plus. 188: swiping back and forth over to blend out Lustre drops over cheek bones and t-zone. Also use it to blend out concealer sometimes when I cannot find my 130. I prefer the 130 for this though because I like "pressing" in my concealer. The 188 is a bit too flexible to stipple. Also tried using this to apply gel blush but couldn't master the technique so I had quite a concentrate colour on my apples. Sort of gave up on gel blushes altogether afterwards. I intend to get the 159. Haven't figured out how and where I am going to use it but it will eventually come to me... Even if it takes 4 years to figure things out like I did with my 131 (bought it with Colour Craft.) I put it up for swap but thank goodness I have been picky because I love it now!

Someone reported Tropica as a lip pencil. I was ready to order 6 of 'em. But it's an eye shadow. I did order one... My black box is supposed to arrive Monday.
