Okay, I cannot spend anymore money on anything except bills until this collection comes out. And I'm going to try my best to pass on the gold fluidline, even though I'm a sucker for golds. But I have fluidlines in a few gorgeous colors, and 363 days out of the year, I just go with the black liner for my top lash line anyway. Now if they came out with a gold PLW e/l...I'd be all over that. Plus BUs.
You can use your colorful fluidlines AND still have an upper lid defined with black!!

Do a thick line of the colorful one then a thinner line of black right on top and/or use a pencil liner wiggled into the lash line and/or applied to the upper waterline.

Also, you'd be surprised at how well defined your upper lids and lash line can look just using a strong colored f/l like Siahi or Dark Envy with plenty of mascara. I always get complements when I do my eyes like that - just a strong cats eye liner in a nice bright color and everything else bare or really neutral or maybe a sheer wash of a matching or related color in something like those Big Bounce shadows (which will never come back - so sad!)

If you've got dark eyebrows, there are lots of colored fluidlines that can be used subtly to define them - I use Dark Diversion on my brows all the time, just inside, not along the edges. That way, the color doesn't really show, but there's a depth to the brow color without the harshness of a black or the sometimes dullness of a dark brown. I use Siahi there too - really lightly with a very fine brush!

I know how you feel girl! I think next spring I'll be in Taiwan and I shudder to think what I might miss! I wonder if I can practice my Chinese at the mac counter...

It'd be good practice if you did! I think I'm just going to be dragging my bf to a dept store so I can haul much to his dismay. lol

Oh and hello fellow Austinite!

I was just thinking about this today. For spring and summer, I really just get excited to wear my coral lippies. But once fall/winter rolls around, I looooove getting to wear my wine colored lips and jewel tones on the eyes. Those are the things that make my makeup-loving heart go pitter-patter!

How interesting! I never thought to use Dark Diversion on my brows...must try that sometime. My brows are definitely dark, even though I'm quite fair-skinned. And good points about the different ways to line the eyes. I guess because I wear false lashes quite often (they're just fun!), I've gotten into the habit of using Blacktrack allllll the time. I really need to pull out my Dark Envy again. I'll give myself between now and when this collection comes out to start wearing my other colors of fluidline more often. If I do, then I'll let myself get the fluidline from Indulge.

Challenge accepted!!

May be wrong thread but if this is the one with the PP, Perky, Layin Low etc its says new shade-stays in line which I guess indicates permanency. The repromoted ones also says stays in line as well. Long day, excuse a cloudy mind
The posts are getting me confused too but from what I understood the Perky, laying low, etc PP are part of the Pro longwear collection in September right and the liquid fluid line, lipsticks and shadows were part of the Indulge collection..Which shades are you referring to from the Pro longwear? everything or just the PP? Thank you for the update

BK came out with Alexander McQueen. Aside from the formula differences, the difference is in the base colour and amount of gold shimmer. BK and Orpheous are almost identical, just slight variations. They're mostly a black base with subtle gold shimmer, resulting in that muddy black with subtle green green sheen. BL is less black, more gold shimmer than the kohl powers, which gives it a more gold tone. Keep in mind that- black + gold = olive green (orpheous, BK, BL) black + red = purple (raven)
I must have three bad kohl power pencils because my raven is burgundy...definitely not purple.

You are so right about using them for the brows. I'm growing mine out so there are some patches that I couldn't cover up too well with my anastacia brow powder. I went digging through all my makeup and found my Bobbi brown Sepia Ink gel liner. My brows look amazing now!

Yes! I feel the same way. Though lately I've been wearing Rebel and Rouge in Love 391... but maybe I should save 'em for another time. I've got a handful of summery lippies that I have yet to wear (Hibiscus, Ever Hip, Jazzed, Made with Love, Fresh Salmon, Betty Bright... I'm looking atchu

LOL, Raven looked like a blackened red on me, definitely not purple either.
I have Raven and it is muted black with a strong warm red sheen. Definitely not purple. The red in mine is not a blue red.

And how could i resist - i first bought Orpheus - mine has a very strong gold sheen, so it looks almost bronze.
Then i got Raven, which i also love.

I had originally passed on Mystery, but i went back for it. Sadly the green sheen is not very strong and seems rather ephemeral. It's just mostly black on me.

Lately i've been playing with stuff, usually powders, in my eye brows. My brows are very thin, so there's no inside and outside. And parts of them are kinda sparse. For "normal" situations i use Omega, matte medium-light brown eyeshadow. But sometimes i put some plum powder or olive green, or other color - depends on what i'm wearing on my eyes and face.
