drop dead gorgeous combo! I got my adored bu today. Love that baby. I was tempted to bu Simmer too, but i had to be realistic. It is such an amazing color, though.

This is why I waited until the in-store release to get my items! I was able to pick out the exact blends for my blushes and MSF's I wanted and the MA was awesome in finding me the best ones! I was lucky enough to get a Rio that was basically half and half. I'll attach a pic in a new post

Yours is the third Rio I've seen like this. I want oneee. I wanted to go in-store to take a look and pick out mine but I have two little ones under 3, so I've been trying to avoid going to the store if I have to brave it on my own with them. Can't chase her around the store haha. Luckily, when I opened my box I was pretty thrilled at how just about everything looked.

And your Adored is very pretty too!

I wore LAP today! It's really a lovely color! Brightens up my whole face! It will look great on you Naughtyp!
I wound up going for Tangerine Dream instead of Ablaze for today, since my dress was red-orange - it made Ablaze look too pink. Thanks for the compliment - this whole collection is very dreamy!!!

I went to Saks today to buy other makeup and got compliments on my makeup application and eye color at two different counters. It was so weird. It was like the morning meeting said "compliment the customers on application and eye color today." I was quite surprised because I went fairly simple today. Maybe the products speak for themselves. I wore Time to Tango on the lids, Sweet Samba MB with Rio MSF and Astral lipgloss.

I hope I don't go back for anything else. I still kind of have Bossa Blue on the mind mostly because I love bronzy colors and I don't have a bronze MES that color. So Bossa Blue is a maybe.

Hey if they're complimenting you, just go with it - the simple look is really in now - and not everyone can pull it off…so:

Bossa Blue is really nice. If you find one with a big blue area and a big brown area, that blue on its own is spectacular, and the brown is really useful and sexy.

Gonna wait till they release in store on Thursday so I can have a better look and play around before I buy and hopefully they let me look at a few because I want more of the coral/peach on my adored msf!

When I go to my MAC counter in Macy's (the only one in my town), I usually already know what I want because I have seen swatches here or on T's sight. They always grab my MSF from the drawer and hand them to me and I say "OH NO". I want to look through them and pick out my own. It pisses them off every time and they say all the MSF are the same. I then go through them to show them that none of them are the same. Come on, really? You all have seen how different each and every Rio is. These people are employed by MAC and they do not know that these are hand poured and that they are all different? People with different skin tones may be looking for a different color in a MSF and should be able to look through the stock. Especially considering how much money we all spend there.

Amen, luckyme!! I had to order my Adored online because I have no Mac local and I'm too busy for a trip out of town. So for me I'm happy with what I get because I can either use it as a highlight or a blush depending on how much coral I get, I'm very fair haha! But I get that at counters all the time where I know so much more than they do!! I even helped a customer better than the woman who worked there did.. She(customer) had Creme Cup lippy and some peachy pink lip gloss in her hand.. She was asking for a more pigmented lipstick that she could wear with and without the gloss but as close in colour to Creme Cup and the gloss as possible. The Mac woman suggested Lovelorn.. SERIOUSLY!? I just said to the lady looking, Please Me is super close to this and it's matte so it wears amazing. She swatched it and thanked me telling me it's exactly what she was looking for!! I had a stare from said Mac girl but at least I helped someone get something they actually wanted! Haha.
