I went with a sweet samba and a lust that had very little pink...

Relax, everybody, it's a nail polish from an indie company that keeps getting sold out before i can order a bottle...

I'd say try it with Bossa Blue. Blue and orange are complementary colors on the color wheel. And both EE and BB have some brown.

Do you have a lot of mineralize items from previous collections?
I find the finish of the MSFs in this collection unlike any other. They are somewhere between regular MSFs and the EDSFs. No glitter, but a sort of duochrome shimmer or iridescence that is a different from the base colors.

I'm pretty light (and neutral toned) and i got Adored and Lust. And now (gulp) i'm thinking of going back for Rio.

So I went to the MAC store today and had a MUA show me how to use EE as an eyeshadow!!!!!!! Apply rubenesque paint pot all over lidcand crease, then orange part of EE on crease/lined under eye, brown part as corner blended... Then eyeliner.... So beautiful!
That sounds lovely, I was waiting for someone to explain how to use it as a shadow and your comment definitely helped. Which eyeliner did she use? just a black liner?.........thank you :)

As I wrote I'm NC20 skintone and I like both strong and bright colors, with shimmer and without.

MSFs
Adored and Rio don't have any glitter, i guess Lust has a little, but it's far less than most MSFs. What these new MSFs have is an iridescent glow that is a different color than their base.
Adored is not very bright, but would probably look quite nice on you, since it has a peachy base and a pearl glow. I don't normally like orange but it really was special and i couldn't resist.
Rio and Lust are both pinky. I think Lust is a cooler color, but it has a warm sheen, while Rio has some bronze mixed with the pink... I'm guessing, but i think you'd like Rio.

BLUSH
None of the blushes has any glitter, and not even much shimmer, but all have a lovely reflective sheen
Simmer is a warmer color than Sweet Samba, it's a warm rose with a glowing light apricot sheen.
But if you like bright color, Sweet Samba has an intense cool pink, which can be toned down by its shimmery beige half.
I am not a fan of Exotic Ember - it just didn't work for me - Liba will have to describe its charms, as i think her coloring is closer to yours.

OK, it's all your fault. I'm going to go back for Rio and Simmer. Really. It just isn't my fault that i can't resist! No way! You made me do it.

Oh, yeah, and my Black Box should arrive tomorrow with the stuff i ordered as soon as the collection was released. Yup, that's how long it takes to get here. In fact, it was really supposed to come on Tuesday. Just in time for me to leave town to go camping for 4 days when i will be fabulous, dahling, in massive amounts of antioxidants and sun screen.

On the previous page, someone mentioned "conditioning" their brushes before washing them. I have Becca brush soap. It reminds me of a tin of shoe polish, which cleans and conditions the brushes. That is the only thing I have used to deep clean my brushes, other than Sephora's Daily Brush Cleaner, on a daily basis. Before I use my brand new 159, am I missing an important initial step?

I got Adored today and I'm having trouble with it being really powdery when I put my brush in it. Any tips to avoid this? I'm thinking of picking up the 159 or 187 now. I don't have an duo fiber brushes.

How did another Adored manage to get in my cart? I'm head over heels with this highlight. Whenever I pass a mirror I have to look at it. The light reflects off of it so beautifully. I can see this being used way more than all my other highlights. I haven't touched another highlight since I've gotten it.

I just don't know if I should actually get another.

On another note, Fever Isle and Narcissus are so pretty! I don't use glosses much, but I tried them on last night and Fever Isle is just so fresh and pretty. Narcissus is pretty too. I want more....These darn mineralize collections.
