Thanks for the input ladies. The inserts annoy me, too, but I open up the product backwards so I usually don't have to handle it. Now do I need to leave them in for EDSF?

Going to pick up Rio and Narcissus today :) I think I'm going to get talked into buying heroine as well...I guess I can use it under lavender whip from BB too ;)

I really want the 159 brush after reading all about it here! It's quite expensive here, and I actually hate my other duo fibre brushes, do you think it's worth it for people who aren't fans of the traditional duofibres (like the 187).

I'm actually not a fan of duo fibre brushes (usually only use them in my kit but never in my personal brush collection) but I actually love this one. So much so that I went back and bought 2 more for my kit since the first one was for my personal use lol.

I've ask my boyfriend for a few things as gifts, but I was specific with what I wanted (palettes, sets, light reflecting loose powder). I'd be scared to think what he'd pick for individual colour products. Serenityy, please share with us what he got you! That's so sweet of him, but I'm still quite curious.
If my boy went to MAC, he probably will pick a bright pink eyeshadow since my fav color is pink LOL
So turns out I don't need to go in store. My boyfriend told me not to go to buy anything from the collection because he bought me stuff.   He claims he picked out stuff based on what he think would look good on me and what I would like. He won't tell me exactly what he got so I'm anxious. Let's see if I can trust his MAC judgement, this should be interesting. :amused:
Thats soooo sweet! Im so curious!
 oh dear. I love pink, but that is one colour that almost never looks good on my eyes.

, but i keep all my cosmetics in their boxes - and i keep the little plastic protective caps on mineralize stuff. I store the boxes with the name up, so i can find things fairly quickly (i've got way too much stuff)

Here's my simmer, not sure why it came with a smudge in the middle.
I mentioned the other day what the smudge was from.

The plastic protector is for shipping purposes only. It acts as a shock absorber, so unless you're traveling with (or shipping) a baked item, there's no point in keeping it.

I forgot to check. I have both. I cannot find my camera, though, so it'll be verbal only - tomorrow, before i head out of town.

I like it cuz it helps keep glitter and dust down. I wear Mineralize Natural most often as my face powder, and, well, it's powdery (i swirl with a fluffy brush), so i think the plastic cap helps reduce the loose powder dust in my makeup bag. Or maybe i'm just weird

i wish i would've kept stuff in boxes, esp lipsticks (although i do keep special packaging) but yes i keep the protective plastics on mineralized stuff too!!

I like to keep the plastic cap over the product. It keeps the container nicer looking. It's a personal quirk of mine. I like for the window to stay nice and clean. It just makes me happier.

Yeah my MSFN seems to multiply the loose powder overnight! It's completely loose powder-free after I'm done using it, then the next morning, i could snort it if i wanted to, there's enough loose powder!

I read all the posts related to your question MissTT and started getting nervous because I don't keep anything extra---can't stand anything in the way (not that it's like
moving a bolder or anything but when I'm in a hurry every step counts (you see, I'm old). If you remove the plastic you have to put it back! I don't keep the inserts
and nothing has ver happened to my products as a result.

Thank goodness Erine! I hate anything that obstructs and will continue to throw the plastic inserts away!

Same here. One time I took everything out of the box and was going to throw them away but I couldn't bring myself to do it. :shrugs: I don't know why but I feel more organized with them in boxes and not to mention my recent move was so smooth due to them being boxed up.

Of all of the items that I recently purchased, the only thing that I've test driven is the Naked Deep Dark Pigment---not even in this collection. Side eye at you Erine

I asked! He said that would ruin the surprise and he said he knows that I will show up faster to see what it is. Friday IS like next year lol

OOOOooooo he's GOOD! Using the MAC to lure you to him sooner! He's one smart cookie! And knows how to use your vice in his favor! It's a WIN WIN situation! I like his style! He's a keeper!

Alas, I only managed to get the 3 mineralized skin finish in Rio, Lust and Adored, Bosa blue MES and heroine lip pencil. There was a delay in the shipment of the rest of the mineralized blushers and eyeshadows :( I do hope my local counters get it soon, but knowing the lack of self discipline i have, i might just spend all my money on other stuff before the blushers come in. Sighz...
