I'm sorry you keep getting the fuzzy end of the lollipop on this one. MAC sure does keep dropping the ball on this one and shame on them for all these sub-quality lipsticks!

where to you live it has to be the heat I just got my back orders and the temp here is only 78 degrees and they were perfectly fine they were lil shiny like they were hot I popped them in the fridge and there perfect I'm seeing a lot of ppl who live in super hot areas have this issue a lot

I just called MAC about the status of my orders. I was told that the order that I placed on the 19th for Heaux should be shipped out by the 8th. My other order for Heaux that was placed shortly before it sold out on the 21st is on backorder and she provided no further information on it although I probably should have inquired further as to why it has not entered the pending process yet. If I don't receive a shipping notice on the first order by Monday and if the 2nd order still hasn't even entered the pending process by then, I will be calling them back. I just recently got into makeup and this is my first time purchasing from a limited edition collection like this and I'm quite disappointed with my overall experience. I was looking forward to the fall collection but am now trying to consider if it's even worth it for all this hassle.

I placed my third order for a BU of RRB on the 22nd and it's still pending from Thursday as well. This Riri collection has been something else, from waiting rooms, to herpes, towaxy goop and damaged goods. I guess it is a true reflection of Riri (LOL) I had too. Anyhow, don't let this discourage you from future collections, I truly believe this Mac/Riri collab has been jinxed. I just hope since MAC is correcting many of the mistakes made with these orders that the future releases will be handled more appropriately.

Received my lippies last night. Heaux had a smidge of that waxy stuff on the base. I touched it with my nail and it started to come off right away. So strange. Anyway, I'm disenchanted with these two newest shades. RRW knocks them both out of the park. Heaux was a bit nicer on me than I expected though. Just don't know how often I would reach for it. They look extra dry on my lips. Like I need a gloss. Both applied nicely though. Erin remember when I showed you that Bare Escentuals brush similar to the L'Oreal? I told you I'd seen it at a drugstore before.

This is BS that we have to call bout out order! My order also has been pending since Thursday! I really don't want to spend any more time on this collection!

We don't need to call, that's the thing! The BOs said they'd ship mid July. Last i checked, the calendar said today is July 3rd. I get this collection has been a hot mess, but people just need to chill, and let the pending status pend for a few more days. If, by mid July, orders haven't arrived, then people should call.

It's not the heat. It's a production issue. The shininess you saw was the wax that covering this formula, that too, is a production issue.

How'd your friend say this brush was to be used? I truly don't understand why it was released w/ a bronzer. I at least understand the L'Oreal version.

Now someone said something about at re release in August

I had emailed CS and asked them about my order and it didn't go through I even tried to indirectly ask if they were gonna relaunch but the person who replied didn't say anything, just that she's sorry..haha... I hope its true though, I would like a BU of Heaux if I like it! Prices on eBay are crazy!

Tried out Heaux today. Paid ridiculous price on ebay. It sat in my mailbox all afternoon and it was hot here.LLuckily no meltage. There was a small gob of that waxy goop on it but I flicked it right off saying to myself, herpes be damned. It was worth it. I love the color-unique from Rebel & the stain is gorgeous. I like it better blotted down. Now wondering if I chase down boy.

My biggest concern at this point is that my order from the 21st hasn't entered the pending process yet. The status still says backorder, which I find a bit strange as it seems like everyone else's orders have at least entered the pending status, including my other order, regardless of the order date. I hope that my first order ships on the 8th as I was told, but as long as they're both shipped within the timeframe they gave, I can't complain about that too much. As far as my experience with this collection, my biggest issue was the cancellations without proper notice. They cancelled 3 out of 5 orders for Heaux (I only wanted two but had to keep placing orders after a previous order got cancelled). The waiting room was quite annoying but I assumed the website would be quite backed up due to Rihanna having a large fanbase as well as people who just liked the products. As you said though, I hope they can handle future releases better because I'd hate to completely write off limited edition collections and miss out on some products that I'd really want.

She couldn't, cuz there's no possible way to use it! I get the theory behind it, but you can't load it up properly. Same retarded nonsense as those lid/crease/brow shadow sponges from one of the drugstore brands. It's a gimmick that's just a way to try a make money.

I agree. I had an order cancelled and my sister had 3 cancelled, none of which we received an cancellation email for. If they send out an confirmation email, they need to send out a cancellation email as well, regardless of the cancellation reasoning. It's just poor customer service and poor business practice, plain and simple.

Oh, I got Naked Deep Dark & I LOVE it on too! Its just a bit darker & still has the honey undertone to it. Perfect!

Yay! :kissy: Just had an idea for NDD! Take the same look as before-NDD on the lid, navy smudged at the lashline. Now take a matching navy shadow and blend it into the entire crease and smudge both the liner and shadow on the bottom lashline. Lots and lots of mascara! Neural mauve blush and a neutral lip like VG V!
