I think T maybe needs to clean a brush once in a while and maybe her issues with "poor pigmentation," and "wierd overcoats/hard surface" that make it hard to get a swatch from powder products would not be so bad. JMHO, don;'t throw rocks.

I never got the EE quad, had too many similar colors so maybe it was crappy but the colors in the PP quad were all fine for me. I think I use PP in the V of the eye, so did not really have to blend it much but it definitely has color pay off and no problems with patchiness or such. It is probably dupeable but the reason I probably love it and will be getting the single is I never depot my quads so I want the singleton because it is really hard for me to find plum, pruple or wine colored e/s that don't make my eyes look like pink eyed rabbit effect or irritate my eyes. (I think there is something in the red or purple pigments that is irritating for me, and PP doesn't do that.) So, that is why it is one of the few e/s I will actually back up.
LMAO!!........ I love T but I usually take her reviews and swatches with a grain of salt, I'm not a fan of her lighting either since the colors always appear a bit off. She's also a bit harsh with her reviews on mineralized products but its a matter of preference (her own) and ultimately her own opinion on them. Some of her reviews are spot on and some are...meh. Like Beautybuyer said "better to have them than not" but she doesn't dictate my purchases.

Uncalled for. She's been reviewing cosmetics for years, I think she knows how and when to clean her brushes.
I sort of agree with Martiangurll, sometimes T reviews things most of us have absolutely no problem with. And won't even go there with the over doing her blush applications

It wasn't uncalled for, just an opinion!

I'm loving this colour too! Not to while away summer, but I am looking forward to scarves, my leather jacket, knee high boots and plum lipsticks. :eyelove: Edit: I'm referring to the lovely IG pic with the matte plum that Erine says could be FAF retro matte. Sorry for not linking to the post.

I agree, most of her reviews are very good but some are not so good. But I think she does a very good job, we don't have " pro bloggers " here, and she is really a pro !

Well my opinion is that if you walked up to makeup artists you've never met in your life and accused them of never washing their brushes, that would be a huge insult, considering their livelihood depends a lot on the condition of those tools. (And no, Christine is not a pro MUA, but that's hardly the point.) It's one thing to say you don't care for her lighting, picture quality, etc, but to imply that she doesn't know what she's doing really irritates me.

And that's all I'm going to say about it for now.

LOL she does way over apply blush but I assume its so the camera shows the color? Her cheeks always end up looking dirty/ a hot mess. Her lips are super pigmented plus her lighting= me having to still swatch my own lipsticks lol But she's good and try's her best we all have tr right to our opinions which ever way they go. T got me onto laure m setting powder AND I LOVE YOU FORVER FOR THAT T Lol :p

I completely get what you're saying and agree with the pro part. It would be insulting. But believe it or not a lot of bloggers and YouTube people don't wash their brushes a ton. Since they're only being used on them self (I assume) and have a lot of things to review they get lazy.. Like the rest of us lol. They usually don't have fresh washed brushes when they go to review products and it makes a big difference. I've seen a lot of bloggers say" oh I try to wash once a week" so they do have build up a lot. Though I have no idea if T herself fits in that category

Ugh washing them is so easy but so annoying as well. This one chick I knew claimed to take 5hrs washing maybe 20 brushes. Iono what on earth she was doing with them but if it really took that long I surely wouldn't wash weekly either lol.

Totally agree, had it been for her I wouldn't have bought ririwoo and I definitely would have skipped several lipsticks I bought based on her swatches. I respect her and truly appreciate her reviews because many have helped but she's human. I don't know her well enough to know if she washes her brushes or not neither do I care, but I respect Martiangurll and Richelle's opinion, I don't take Martiangurll's opinion as a accusation just an opinion and to some of us it makes sense. Bottom line lets just all agree to respectfully disagree

Washing brushes and removing nail polish are my two least favorite activities in the world.

I do wash them after every use though it's annoying.

That's a lot of washing!
I have over 30 brushes I think, so I use what is clean and don't wash every single one every day. Also I cheat by using one multiple times if I use the same product, like if I use Lightscapade 2-3 days in a row I use that brush those 3 days without washing, but only with that one product. (I only do my own makeup obviously if I'd use them on someone else I'd clean them every single time)

Lmao 5 hours?! I wouldn't even bother washing my brushes lol! I also have multiple brushes so I cheat. Some I only wash once a week (oh I'm so dirty!! I even wear my panties inside out....NOT LOL) but hey I'm not doing makeup reviews!! Only thing I wash after each use is my beautyblender but its easy and quick
