MAC Tropical Taboo Collection (2013)

Quick question: I really love the MSF from this collection, which one do you ladies recommend as a blush?  I have seen posts and pictures and it is really hard to pick.

If you are fair I would say lust. It's more metallic, though! If you can find rio with a tiny bit of brown that would look lovely as well.

I have been trying to take lessons from your attitude towards it all, and my purchases have gone way, way down this year compared to 2012 and 2011. I'm a collector in general though, so sometimes it is hard! Space is at a premium for me, so it has helped on that front a lot. My wallet thanks you as well.

For once I'm glad I didn't skip. I worried these blushed would be too warm/Orange but Simmer looks just like a slight sunburn on NW 17 or so skin. Maybe its b/c I applied lightly and have a tan. SS Blush is rapidly becoming a use almost every day blush. Mine had less pink which eas good so I can control the hyper pink pigment by limiting the particles that end up on my brush!

The only thing I bought from this collection was Heroine l/l. If I would've gotten it in the Fashion Sets release this collection would've been a skip for me as well.

I got heroine bu lipliner,no more bu for a while, and if i still had my box will return the purple gloss cause it looks like mirrored plum.

Heroine lipliner is a great bu to have I wish I had backed it up as far a ncs I'm liking it to but not loving it yet

I used Adored MSF. I think my fave from this collection and I finally used the 189 brush. I usually either use the 189 or the 165 to apply highlighter but since I got the brush from this collection - 159, I haven't tried the other two. Just reporting - 189 worked well for this. I mostly patted it on and then blend it, which is what I usually do. I need to try it with the other MSF from this collection and then I'll move on to the 165. I don't know if the 159 is the end all for me though. But I like it.

That's a shame! I originally got none of the MSFs from this collection, but last week when I saw someone posting a photo of Rio with a lot of pink and Rio with less pink, I went right after work and got me a Rio with very little pink. I've been wearing it as a blush all weekend and it looks great! Looking at your avatar photo, I really think that it would work on you. Maybe you should try to use your brush to pick up more brown from the product.

Even though Sweet Samba and Simmer didn't look well as a blush on me I keep debating whether to get them still while I can and use them as a eyeshadow.
