Even though Sweet Samba and Simmer didn't look well as a blush on me I keep debating whether to get them still while I can and use them as a eyeshadow.
Those would be ginormous eyeshadows! Sometimes I hold onto things because i know my tastes will change and I will get into them more later. These definitely need a light hand. Why didn't you like them as blushes? For me, if I had not known to use a light hand, I would have been unable to make them work but I am pretty pale and I love them both. EE I avoided because I just knew it would go into Oompa Loompa territory on me.

I agree they would be big for being a eyeshadow but sweet samba would look beautiful using both of the shades. I'm a NC15 and I tried the blushes on with a lighter hand and I even got the MAC girl to and they didnt look right on my face, maybe I could work with them and grow into liking them as blush but I'll have to hurry and decide before they go out of stock haha!

I've looked at the swatches, but nothing really appeals to me. Money saved! It seems like a good decision to me.:flower:

U have great willpower Jennifae which is great I tried to skip tempature rising totally but ended up with ripe for love blush I have no willpower lol
I don't really have great will power. Just look at my other hauls. :haha: I thought about getting a BU of Narcissus, but I already have Mirrored Plum, so I had to say no to a BU. I don't see anything else that I really have to have.

I love the 159 brush with Adored, works so well. There is one thing I'm disappointed about the brush though, is the size. I expected it to be like the Sigma F15 but other then that I do love it!

I'm NC15 and use all the blushes and especially love EE. I had to play around a bit with them first though.

The trick was to change my placement of them. With SS and Simmer, especially, I can't just slap them on like I do my usual blushes. I find these look best when I apply them high on the apples of my cheeks and blend down and out - so the most color is where the sun would normally make my cheeks red first. It's like the blush equivalent of bronzer - can only put them where the sun would naturally hit. I've got to use a smaller brush to apply them than what I normally use too.

EE is the most forgiving one, but I got one with more brown in it, so that makes it easier.

Does anyone have Lady at Play lipstick?
I do, I love it but it wasn't a need for me to get because I have plenty of corals that are so similar and it's in their permanent line but I don't regret buying it because at some point I would off, it's pretty!

I'm sure you'll create some amazing looks.

I picked up my items this morning and was able to chose the patterns I wanted!

The Adored and Rio on the left are my BUs. They had very little of the MES, only two of the ones I wanted! Luckily they had a Bossa Blue with a lot of blue and a Cha Cha Cha with quite a bit of the lime. You can't see the veining on Tropica that well, but it's equal lilac and silvery blue. The coral in Adored is brighter than it seems from the pictures, it's so pretty! I love Rio too, it's amazing as a bronzy blush when the two colours are mixed. I don't think the finish is too metallic to use it as a blush. I also have comparison pics with Ring of Saturn and Simmer.

They are completely different blushes on me! I think it's because my ROS has a lot of the light colour and the dark colour seems less pigmented than the dark in Simmer. Also the light colour in Simmer basically only adds a peachy sheen and doesn't alter the colour a lot.
