Im wondering if some eyeshadow or pigment is applied over the paint pots

Here are some pics and swatches from Sunny's blog. I'm not sure whether we've seen those Masterclass pics before? Anyways, I do find this set of the paintpot pics quite strange - in the pot the colours seem exceedingly light, but the swatches are quite dark? http://mostlysunnyblog.com/2013/07/...mineralize-eyeshadow-chocolate-brown-pigment/ Tailor Grey also looks like the Maybelline Color Tatoo in Taupe something.
