Les Beiges de Chanel

Ok Chanel peeps, I got to test a few of these today at Nordies. I order the #10 on chanel.com which is a VERY pale pink tint kind of vanilla. The #20 is just as pale but with a slight yellow tint. So then the Chanel lady that I've known there for a long time says, lets try the #60 on you for a slight color/bronzer & it was BEAUTIFUL!

yep, #60! Its a slight pink/rose tone bronze. I would have never picked out the #60 for myself. Its such a beautiful shade. I will order it too.

The texture is amazingly luxurious silky extremely fine milled. FABULOUS texture which just melted into my own skin. They are EXTREMELY sheer!!!!!!! & forgiving. They did not have the Kabuki brush. Is that an online exclusive?

I also tested the new brush set. It was soft & wonderful too. I may get it later. I had already bought jeans & boots so..................

Here I was thinking I would be using the #70 that I ordered as a bronzer. I should just call this
mystery powder because at this point how I'll be using it is a real mystery.

Nevertheless, thank you for sharing your findings. At least I know I'll be getting an "amazingly
luxurious silky extremely fine milled" product.

I hope I can see them in person tomorrow, but I doubt I will since I can't find them on any site besides Chanel. I'm thinking I can get away with #60. I'm not the darkest shade in Perfection Lumiere, so I don't think I'll be the darkest in this powder. I hope the shade doesn't shift after application like PL, though. Thought I had the perfect one in that only for it to go way dark on me after half an hour. I have a bronzer, so I want to use this powder as a foundation or finishing powder. Fingers crossed.
Oh Shontay I hope you get to read Elegant's post before you go tomorrow. I'm #64 in PL so now I'm not sure what to think beyond the fact that #70 just might be an over all face powder for me, which would be ok.

Hi babe! Ipad is not liking it here tonight so...... Yep, not sure how these are going to work for everyone because of how sheer they are. I guess they are more like a Mac beauty powder.

Thanks Teger! That picture looks perfectly accurate!

I know they're sheer, but I'm still concerned 70 might be a smidge too dark, however it's not as red as 60. I may just go with 70 anyway, though. I'd love to know if these oxidize!

I love 70 because you get such immediate color payoff. They give a hint of color. Blends very easily. And it's. And 70 isn't too orange, too yellow or too red. Just right. It Blends very easily. And it's buildable to an extent.. Its more useable than bronze universal IMHO, which has a bronze-orange hue. This looks super natural; very skinlike.

Don't have any comments regarding oxidization.

Someone compared they to skinfinish natural, but I like Les Beige more. The texture and application is better.

Thats right, I forgot you have it. How does it compare to our beloved FM powder

It's better for the summer than FM I think! Makes me look all glowy and healthy

I really like the idea of picking up a second shade to use as a soft sort of bronzer/contour, but I'm not sure what to go for!

Whoa, well that's awesome to hear! 60 was such a pretty subtle pink toned healthy bronzer but not bronzer look on my skin.

Went all over my local mall today and the powder was nowhere to be found. :crybaby: Heaven knows I don't need it, but I want it.

We only get 10 to 50 here, but I think I'll have a look at the Chanel counter tomorrow and see how they look! 40 was put on me for a makeover a month or so ago, and that was pretty :)
