Yes I saw that. I've heard of folks from the US just ordering it anyway and not having any problems, but I don't want to risk it.

I know my sister got the Acid Palette from Sleek a while back. The last time I tried to order it they told me about restrictions and removed it from my bag. Same thing happened with the V2 Palette. However I wanted that V2 so bad I went to eBay and got it no problem. That palette is AWESOME!!!! I love mattes and the dark rich colors in this palette make it worth the extra work for me.

LOL! Don't do that. Don't enable me. I need more mattes in my life, I'm over 35 (barely, but still), and sometimes these shimmery shadows are a bit much. I was afraid to buy because I've heard the sleek mattes can be a bit hit or miss, but I'll give it a go anyway. **runs over to ebay**

I charge you both with ENABLING! I really need to stay out of the forums. I wanted the V2 Palette and thought it was just a lemming due to the restrictions. But I can order it on Ebay and get it !?! That is just so wrong.....my poor wallet.

Ha ha! I figured it had something to do with something in the shadows that wasn't approved in the US.

Ok. I'm gonna get the palette, then get on a no buy for like 4 weeks. I've ordered WAY too much in the past month. My poor wallet too.

I was about to order some sleek today but didn't because i didnt want to pay for shipping. I know its not that much....but i just really really dislike paying for shipping. I know its silly.....but if i have to pay for shipping i reconsider the purchase

I think shopping with ASOS the UK based clothing retailer has spoiled me when it comes to shipping since they offer free shipping AND free returns to and from the US. I realize that they are a huge online marketplace and so can afford to do so, but when I order something from a US retailer and they charge 8.00 flat fee for something I really get angry. If a UK based retailer can offer me free shipping from something coming from overseas, why can't a US based retailer do the same??

That being said, I do factor shipping into my purchases, and I can't say I'm against paying for shipping, I just have a number in my mind that I feel is excessive and that varies from retailer to retailer.

I also know that Sleek used to charge something like 13 dollars to ship to the US no matter WHAT you bought and I tell ya, if that was the case right now, I would never have ordered anything from them. Something like 5 to 6 to even 8 dollars depending on how much you order seems WAY more reasonable than 13 dollars flat fee.

I agree...... the reason it took me so long to buy anything was the shipping. I finally purchased and made a large order to where the shipping seemed reasonable. Since then my make collection has grown and i dont find it necessary to make large bulk purchases to often....... now on the sleek website iam only interested in2 items.....i m not going to pay $8for $15 worth of product. like even MAC for example, now that they offer free shipping i find my self puchasing more often, rather then beforeyou had to spend $50..... so i would pass unless i need to repurchase and just added from them

My order came yesterday and may I say I am quite pleased! I'll definitely be buying more from them in the future. I've already got my eye on that Fire Blush by Three.

Ha ha ha!!! That was in my order, along with the Oh So Special palette and the Face Form. Gonna give them both a go on Monday for work, see how they do. I bought Pumpkin for fall, but I can't wait, I have to wear it now.

Yes! Get ALL the blush by 3's! They are all amazing in quality and pigmentation. The contour palettes are great for WOC too. By the way, they're doing a 20% off $40+ orders today (24 hour sale).

U know I got the email and am already slowly filling up my cart. I want to try their base duo. I'm an NC50 in Mac, 177 in MUFE HD, Macao in Nars Sheer Glow... what shade should I choose? I'm thinking Moca, but I'll probably just by the tester kit do I don't have to return something later if I choose wrong. Unfortunately I haven't seen many swatches online.

I haven't tried the Base Duo and have been looking for swatches myself. I am NC45-50 in MAC and I'm good finding my shade in other brands in person but online without swatches is TRICKY! If I find any good swatches before the sale ends, I'll try to post a link so you can check it out too. The tester kits are nice to mix and match shades and they're cheap, especially when compared to the pro brands who make similar palettes.

I totally caved into the sale today too. I had just purchased from them a month ago and now bought a bunch of things I should've gotten before, although I skipped the Pout Paints. Their "Lace" Blush-by-3 is lovely and so is the Face Form palette... the contour powder is more pigmented than MAC's and lasts a long time... I definitely think their coloured powders are comparable to something mid-high end. Their lipstick is also insane so I got Amped, which looked kind of dupe-able for Candy Yum Yum. Also read like millions of reviews on their eyeshadows so I hope they're as beautiful IRL! I can't believe how cheap their stuff is considering how good the quality is, holy damn.

I have the face form, I've used it a few times and like it a lot. The highlight is a teeny bit too shimmery for me, but I can adjust that with a different brush and setting with powder. Love that everything is in one compact, makes it easier in the mornings to do a light contour without pulling this blush and that highlighter and this contour.

I caved. Bought six loose shadows, the pout paint in port (which looks kinda sorta like a non matte version of Heaux, and also try saying that ten times fast. Pout Paint in Port! Ha ha!) and the BB Cream in Medium.
