oh the slight pain i went through for affinite. So i order from nordstroms site but to pick up at my local nordstrom yesterday. usually its available to pick up after 1 hour but i wakeup this morning and im like hold up i still didnt get a pick up notification. I was going to the mall to check out the new nars foundation anyways so I was like ill just ask when i get there. When i go to the chanel counter they only have 3 creme blushes for sale! just destiny, inspiration and presage. Im like um so how were they gong to give me my blush??? I had to cancel that order at their costumer service and reorder on the site so that it can ship to my house. smh. well hopefully i end up getting it.

i hear good things about that lipstick. don't give me another reason to check it out again

Ooh, I second that. I have Black Orchid and it is one of the greatest Fall lipsticks around. I also got Reckless from last year's holiday collection (still available), which I love as well.  There's a rumour that it's being discontinued... So, you know, if you like it, time may be a factor...

Luvlydee, I know you didn't mention being interested in Fantastic cream blush, but I think you should give it a look. It's gorgeous on the skin. It's my favorite of the cream blushes.

my local NM had 3 affinite's in case anyone is looking - have no clue why this one is so elusive, it's not LE either! it's quite pretty but I got my pink fix with fantastic and destiny for my brown fix!

I LOVE Destiny---it looks peach one me. That was a pleasant surprise. How do you like it Pbpink???

I want to first buy either one of the chanel illusion d'ombre that i saw at the counter but for the life of me cant remember the name or tom ford's black orchid. since i already ordered one of the cream blushes already which will be here on wednesday i want to get other products. but if i really fall in love with the formula i will definitely look into that before getting the illusion d'ombre or the tom ford lipstick. gosh my wallet is crying.

But with this price range i get more picky and in turn buy less makeup and now im so over mac. (im still getting rihannas stuff and camel coat paint pot but that is it. ill only haul when they do collabs with celebrities or cartoons lol)

I love Illusion d'Ombre! I have 2, I think :lol:. My favorite is Epatant. A gorgeous and strange mix of silver/taupe/green. Chanel is an expensive addiction, but the amazing thing is that even though you can be pickier because of the price, you'll rarely get a dud. Everything is just so good in terms of quality. Usually, it just comes down to what you like.

Ok so i did some googling and the illusion d'ombre color i really liked was emerveille. i was going to buy mirifique on the spot though because i always wanted a glittery black but she was sold out. the third im interested in illusoire. Oh boy there goes my money running away from me and leaving skid marks lmaoo Is everyone done hauling this collection though?

I have epatant and illusoire, and both are completely gorgeous! Mine are nearly two years old, and the formula is still awesome. I also have rivière which is a bit of a dud. I just ordered controivise (I did not spell that right, but the oe from the Asia collection). I plan on getting the two from the holiday collection. I'm done with the fall collection. I got roundevous (i may need a back up, i adore it) and esprit rcs, and fantastic and affinite cream blush. I have a strong aversion to glitter, which is great for my wallet. I sold fauve cause it was too glittery for me, ad gri gri was a no go as well

But now im thinking of going with apparence instead of emerveille because i wnat more of that 'wet' look on my lids and i think since apparence has more yellow in it than emerveille it would look better on my skin? Correct me if i am wrong anyone lol

destiny was the first one I picked of all the cream blushes! I love it! I think it is perfect for both summer/winter! love it under LesB too, I think they go together perfect, brings out the brown/gold tone! goes well with brown/green eyes too!

go with convoitise!! if I could only have one illusion d'ombre it would be convoitise - I have the others you mention too and from your pic here this one would look stunning, it is almost like apparance + emerville had a baby!

I usually pluck my own brows but when i get them done it has always been threading. Im scared of wax lol

go with convoitise!! if I could only have one illusion d'ombre it would be convoitise - I have the others you mention too and from your pic here this one would look stunning, it is almost like apparance + emerville had a baby!

That does sound grogeous! But looking at swatches im scared it might look too light on my dark lids but imma order it anyways lol

I haven't even started. I have a big list too. I don't know why I keep putting it off. I just have so many things that I want and Chanel kind of went down in my list of priorities. I think because most of it was dark and I just didn't want to wear dark colors right now. So I just bought stuff I want to wear right now. I really should get started though. Next thing I know the Holiday collection will be out and I'll be up a creek without a paddle. I know Holiday will move fast.
