I had to look up VG Gaga 2 just to make sure, and yes, I see the similarities too. Easy skip for me lol

A shame too, I'm all about the 80's!
Easy skip for me, too. Almost this entire collection is easy for me to skip. If I'm tempted by anything, it's the quads &blushes. I'm not sure about TTT for me either.

I would rather them have done regular packaging for the first three launches and then black leather with rose-gold accents for holiday. Like "Making Pretty" but edgier. Maybe even add some studs. I would have paid the extra $ for something really special. I like Rihanna and I wanted to get more items from these collections but this packaging...

That would have been awesome!
Don't worry.  If it's really cheap packaging, the 'R' will probably rub off over time.  I can only hope it does - it's hideous!
Lol! Hope so, it's so juvenile!

This is from a 2012 Victoria Secret Show. Her Makeup Artist revealed that she's wearing MAC "Sin" lipstick in this photo.

IIRC, those weren't approved for the lips. I have the two colours of the glittercream that came out after the playboy collection and they weren't approved for lip use. I don't have the heart to b2m them, even if they aren't good anymore

Lol!! I remember the look on my boyfriends face when I first pulled out a MAC lipstick! And it was also bright pink (heatherette)

I wonder what people who dont know much about MAC think when they see some of the MAC LE lipsticks (Hello Kitty, Wonderwoman etc). I mean we know the idea behind the collection and all, but try to explain it to other people! They would prob think I am playing with kids make-up;)
Hey, you do know there is a Hello Kitty vibrator, don't you?

I still have some MAC lipsticks from the 1990s. I can smell when they're rancid and won't use them, but i still have one that's not rancid yet. I did have to replace a couple (Icon and Cyber), but one is utterly irreplaceable, so i've museumized it.

Well, i'm not at home, and i don't remember which, it's either:

MAC Frost Lipstick - Lust - highly frosted pale blue violet (black cylinder tube) mid to late 1990s
MAC Frost Lipstick - Grid - dark frosted blue violet (silver bullet tube) 1998

One of them is still good, but the other has gone over. I posted pictures of them in another thread in which MAC was promising a violet (bluer) lipstick, but merely delivering yet another purple (redder) lipstick.

Here's the post:

I note that Lust is rancid, but Grid is still OK. I have photos of both lipsticks in their tubes, swatched on my arm, and on my lips (although the last photos are blurry). The colors are pretty true.
