I looked it up. It means raido, ride/journey. That's from Wikipedia. Not the most reliable source, I know. The packaging- that's a great comparison, lol. Even though I like the r, the combination of all the elements doesn't make sense to me graphically. It's really really bothersome. And the worst part is its going to stand out so much. I've decided to go for TTT, but I'm seriously going to have to hide it in one of my drawers.

I don't mind the rose-gold - although it may look different in person. Baaaack in the ooooold daaaays, make up pretty much all came in gold-colored metallic cases, so if this is metal, i'll be happy. But if it's just thin metallic-look foil over flimsy plastic, well, i think that'll be just tacky. I generally avoid clothing and accessories with logos - OK, i expect MAC products to say MAC - but i won't buy a purse with logo cloth all over it - they should pay me to be a walking advertisement. So i don't like the signature and the awful R. Now, if the color of an item is nice, i know i'll be lining up to get it, but i'm sure not buying anything for the "special" packaging. Right now, on my "to check out" list are: --- Talk That Talk PLW Lipliner - dark plum --- Talk That Talk Lipstick - matte dark plum --- Nude Lipstick - cool nude - i like that it looks like milk chocolate! --- Diamonds Cream Colour Base - soft pink beige with gold pearl

Well it could be apropos since MAC is taking us for a ride if this collection is anything like the last. I think you nailed the analysis with the observation that the graphic is visually unbalanced by the big R. In combination with the tacky gold plastic it is the visual equivalent of nails on a chalkboard for me. If I end up hauling anything I will have to depot it on general principle. Based on the products per se my list is the same as lilinah.

After seeing some TTT "maybe" photos, I think I will pass on it too. It's gonna be too dark to pull off for me, especially in an asian country! They'll all be staring at my lips with questioned faces like "what the hell happened to that girl look!" lol.

My wishlist for this collection is absolutely downsizing!

Did you already try it on? Does it bleed? How does it compare to other red lipglasses like e.g. Cult of Cherry?

Yes, I tried it on top of RRW lipstick and had no problems with bleeding.

The only red liglosses that I have in rotation at the moment (and therefore the only ones I can swatch) are Cult of Cherry
and Venetian:





COC is a bit deeper and has shimmer.
