RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but is there anyone who actually likes this packaging, not just can tolerate it? I completely understand that everyone has different tastes. I'm just starting to wonder how this will be received in stores.

I actually love the packaging a lot from the pictures i've seen! Hopefully it looks the same or better in person. don't think its as bad as some people are making it seem.

I agree Erine !! It's too bad that people keep stealing without crediting and it seems to be getting worse. It seems like EVERYBODY is trying to be a blogger and blogging isn't for everybody. People need to stay in their lane !!! Erine I am appreciative that u along with others, i remember MacGuy use to post info about collections early and hope u continue to post info but if u chose not to I would totally understand . I know MacGuy got fustrated and stopped posting which is understandable . A private portion would be nice but who would decide who is allowed in that section ? When to allow access... Etc ? In reality the info and pics would probably still get stolen.

Without you and others here on spectra I'm positive I'd be out of the loop from these collections. I myself had my pictures taken from the ririheartsmac summer collection and no credit given! I put the girl on blast via Instagram because of the lack of credit. But I mean people will be stupid and lie steal and cheat to make it seem like they know everything. Funny thing is we don't mind the repost as long as we're given credit!!

What was that collection a while back? All the MAC stuff was painted over? Some acrylic paint should do the trick... Except we'll have to paint over the "windows" to get rid of that stooopid writing.

What collection is that a pic of? It looks like an English tea party with bits of china around a table!

I like the idea of rose gold packaging actually. But MAC f'd it up with the logo overkill.

So to answer your question, you can count me in with Specktrettes who don't like the packaging.

I love me some rose gold my favorite out of the golds that's why I think mac could of did so much better with this collection. it could of been so elegant and glamorous but the big a$$ R messed it up now when I look at it I think teenish

I don't love it, I don't not like it. I have rearranged my entire list tho! I think its just a very busy design, but I like the R, they shoulda just stuck with that only. That is after all Rihannas logo

My list is short because I don't like it. I can tolerate the packaging for the two lipsticks that I want, but not the rest of it. I don't like to spend extra money for something that I don't like. Packaging is a big deal to me for some reason...There are some people who like this design and I don't think it will have a problem selling.

Hehe. I'll probably cave in and get them too. Resisting TTT is likely to be easier because I have Prince Noir already. Not sure about the Nude though, especially if it's anything like Restrained

I totally agree. I don't think it is that bad + let's not forget that it's a Rihanna collection and she is well known for being outside the typical. That makes her Rihanna.

And regarding to this picture, in my personal opinion I think this was a bad looking collection. It looks old fashioned to me. But there are ppl that love it for all that going on in the packaging. Same with the Rihanna's collection.→→ just my personal opinion.

I would have loved matte black packaging with rose gold accents instead of the standard silver. As for the logos...just the R...preferably black with a glossy finish.

That would have been classy, but I am not sure that MAC was aiming for classy here. Nothing about this collection screams sophisticated, mature woman here.
