The waiting room everyone keeps talking about is just that when you go to buy your Rihanna stuff online at macs website you pick what you want then it loads a page aka the "waiting room" that says something like processing your order and it constantly reloads and reloads and will tell you that it's processing your order until finally it does put your items into a cart for you sometimes it takes a few minutes sometimes you can take up to half an hour and longer I've heard people sitting in the waiting room for up to two hours some people saying they have waited even longer
Thank you for clarifying it. Sounds like limbo/purgatory for makeup fans.

Sooo. Who's gonna go to a store now?! I knew they'd find a way to make this launch as difficult as the other two.
Im going to the store on launch date but idk if i should go into the city which has multiple mac stores or just stay in longisland where i only know of 1 mac store lol.
This is exactly the issue I am battling right now lol not sure which will get less traffic, the city or LI

its much easier for me to go to the mac store in long island. I just drive 15 min and theres free parking lol for the city in the other hand i will have to drive to the bustop, take the bus and train and then take the train each time i go to a different mac location. but i feel like if i luck out i LI i dont have anywhere to go. ill have more chances in teh city but damn thats too much work. lol

I wish the term ghetto would just go away. that with ratchet. Such offensive terms and people don't even realize what they are saying...
It is originally an Italian word for the part of the city of Venice to which Jews were restricted and segregated. In fact, it was actually an island where "ghet", foundry slag, was discarded. The word has a long ugly history.

When i was a kid in Chicago, there were still parts of the city, and entire suburbs, where Jews could not live or buy property. And many colleges had Jewish quotas. My father didn't get into a certain university because of that.

Lots of commuter trains on the East Coast. Even from the Chicago suburbs, my father took a train into the city to work.

Heck, in the 1990s from North Oakland i used to have to take a bus to the BART (light rail) station, BART over to San Francisco, a bus to the train station, and then a train to get to San Jose. That took several hours. By car it's about an hour drive.

Lmao i live in long island, New York but right outside the known 5 boroughs (queens, brooklyn, bronx, manhattan, staten island) but i can literally walk 10 min and step into queens lol but manhattan is far. I can drive there and get there in 30-40 minutes but no parking during the weekdays before 7pm and the traffic can be insane. So train is really the only easy way to get around manhattan which has so manyac stores

Exactly! Filters are dumb especially when makeup is involved.

*and of course I posted a pic that was already posted. Whoopsies.

Okay thank you for clarifying. The late release at counters is what threw me off! I only have counters nearby and even that is an hour drive away but I would prefer going in person than being in that waiting room.
Yeah the whole "in store before online" thing caught some of us off guard but thats Mac. As much as I hate the waiting room I prefer it over us killing each other at the store just to find out that they only got limited quantity like with the "Fashion sets" collection (my store only got 3 heroine l/l

I'm just glad that at least this time we have a few other options like counters and Nordies online etc. Keep yourself updated though because Mac loves to change/complicate things at the last minute.

IG user Guess this answers the size question of BGGG and Diamonds!
Not gonna lie, everything looks nice presented this way. Still cackling over the increased price of the lashes due to the packaging. No thanks. How do product pictures of the lipsticks seem so much more appealing than their swatches? I get more and more confused by this collection. Now I have no idea what I'm walking away with.

Where did you find Black Orchid?! I can't find it online :( I hope TTT or FOD looks like BO!
You're probably best off calling stores. Although it's been pulled out on a lot of on line stores, a number of counters apparently still have it. If you want a good dupe, there are a few. I can't comment on any of the ones in this collection, since I haven't seen them yet, but the Mac shade Dark Deed from a few years ago is pretty close (a little more pink) and the Rouge d'Armani shade 609 is even closer.

I can't wait to buy stuff from this collection! I'm more stressed out on HOW/IF i'm going to be able to order than when I just had to worry about getting through the waiting room! haha
