Exactly that. Items similar in the permanent line are used as fillers if the limited edition item is sold out at make over events . Basically close dupes to create the same or close to the same look

They do this a lot in my nearest store here in Spain which is super annoying. If you aren't careful you wind up buying a perm product without knowing! I went to check out the Indulge collection and they'd sold out on many of the items but they had substituted them for other similar ones from the permanent line. They had Aquadisiac instead of Sex and the Oyster for instance, and the lipsticks were different too, except Sweet Succulence, By Design and Smash Hit. If they can't find a "dupe" they leave the gap. I was excited as I thought they had many of the items but as I turned them over and checked out the name I noticed it wasn't right!! I asked the girl at the counter and she said they do that so that the stand doesn't look empty and so that you can create the look and buy a similar product even though the limited edition one is sold out.

Seriously?!?! That's the one I was going to go to. Didnt realize they're that busy. Did you go to them for any other releases? Do you think there will be a long line?! lol

From Queens here too! Im 7 mins from Manhattan so Columbus Circle and Times Square are the closest stores for me.

Sill available online on the U.S. site. I love RRW so much I've been thinking about getting another one. I have 2 and I can't believe I'm thinking about getting another one. I hardly EVER back up makeup. I think if I had to give up all of my other reds (not like I have a ton) I would give them all up for RRW. That's how much I think of RRW. And besides, it's the only one that's made the hubster blush.

BUY ALL THE RRW. Hubster approves of a red lipstick, get all that you can lol. I wore Ronnie Red I think one day and he gave me the side eye of death lol. Men are funny with red lipstick.

I was thinking of buying yet another RRW with the fall collection. I said I wouldn't because I have 2 backups, but I can't imagine being without that lipstick. It's seriously amazing.

The thing with men and red lipstick is there is a fine line in their minds between getting all loved up looking at your gorgeous sexy lips and then imagining red lipstick smeared all over their bodies, which you KNOW is their very next thought. They have to learn to embrace a few imaginary lipstick smears, if you ask me.

no that was my first itme going to that location for a release.. normally I go to times square cause they are always stocked..

Runaway Red is my HG too, (along with Scarlet Ibis for a bright orange red and Ronnie Red for a cherry red). Absolute Power almost defeats Runaway Red, though!

I wish I had a perm MAC red to add, but none of them quite do it for me compared to the LEs.

Damn phone I couldn't quote and post... but yes men are very funny when it comes to reds... Runaway red is my baby. I rediscovered abs power and Ronnie red this summer. Liba shame on you for saying abs power over runaway threadier have to through heaux and maybe relentless red in there. I also love apres chic for an everyday color. Wished I backed it up. But it is very similar to fire sign on my lips... ok I'm rambling this nit the red thread.

Absolute Power is allllllllmost as good as Runaway Red - but not quite (I think RR can be worn through more of the year and is also just a teeny bit less formal - so that makes it win).

Apres Chic and Fire Sign are very different on me and depending on the time of the year, one or the other doesn't work on me; although AC is better overall. I'd take Just a Bite over AC, though. Heaux doesn't even look red on me. Neither does Relentlessly Red - that one looks like a matte Impassioned on me, which is awesome anyways!

One red that everyone loved that I haaaaaaated on me was Heartless from Disney Villains. That made me look like I was 100 years old. Red Racer was P.U. too.

Apres chic is pure love. I did BU the minute I got it with cozy up. Just like Liba said that collection was a total surprise because it was great. However I still cannot like absolute power as much as you guys do. I do like my reds more like ruby woo and riri woo. Did not get runaway red unfortunately maybe they will repromote.
