Hey girls too far behind to read all of your comments, but I talked to my friend who is a manager at a MAC store and she told me MAC sent out a memo to the store, listed was the following: 1. One item per customer 2. NO PRO DISCOUNTS 3. Employees cant purchase anything, unless a friend comes to purchase for them 4. Pre ordering is availiable but you have to pay on OCT 3...  And finally at my particular store there will be security!!!! OMG this is getting out of hand! Now with no pro discount I have to shorten my list because the holiday collection will be out soon also! OMG what do you girls think about the memo that was sent out?? Have you been told the same?? Again this is what my friend was told at her store, are the stores running off the same memos that are sent?? Or is it different for each store??

Order it online so you can get your pro discount. That way you won't have to worry.

Nothing other than what the update book says. But that does make sense that they would put limits on the in-store purchases such as non-pro discounts in order to prevent pros from buying them at discounts in order to make it more fair. In person purchases are basically first come first serve, and the only way to make it 100% fair is to not allow any discounts whatsoever. However, online is a whole other story.

Especially since stores are getting it 4 days before online! For the summer release i was able to get my first order within 5 minutes, but i was gone for 7 hours that day between my dentist appointment and shopping, and i spent every minute those 7 hours in the waiting room placing CPs for people, even while in the dentists chair, so i don't mind the waiting room. As long as i get my stuff and my pro discount I'm happy!

I don't think it is either everyone uses cherry. And I think ttt lip liner is just the same as vino and nightmoth. So they are both a waste of money lol

:werd: And I'm super pissed too cuz currently mac doesn't have anything like TTT in the PLWLP formula and up til now all the current colours have been spectacular! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for better swatches, hoping that T's swatches of TTT were just keeping with how her other swatches have been of late.

Still catching up with this thread, but dare I say that Nude is a bit similar to Riveting, which I love very much? It went from being the lippie I was least interested in to the one I am most intrigued by...might be the only one I haul.

I just got home and saw a message from my store's manager saying one of each piece per customer, too. Also, that it was launching in store a week early (I believe that's the 26th, as previously mentioned).

All I can say is, I'm still glad that there isn't much I want - just TTT lipstick and liner and the CCB if it's exceptional. What a stampede this whole thing is.
