I think she is just not used to wearing darker colors like TTT or even the nude. I'm still getting it though TTT x2 plus CCB x2

They're crap! Not only is the quality sub-par, but you're paying full price. You're better off buying the full size brushes and actually getting you money's worth out of them. I posted info months ago.

Im one of those ppl against se brushes ever since i bought a holiday se brush set back in 2009 and they were horrible (minus the 187 se go figure lol) only reason im getting this 187 se brush for full price is for collecting purposes. Not for quality. But jts a shame its the same price as the full brush. .... Guess its about that time someone starts a riri hearts holiday thread???

I feel like I want to get Diamonds CCB, Hibiscus Kiss (I missed it the first time), Bag Girl Gone Good blush, trying to limit to one quad, and debating on the nude. Not sure if the nude will look great on my NC44 skin tone. I calculated and was shocked to see that buying the 2 quads @ $44 plus California tax would put me back nearly $100!!! Just for 2 quads is ridiculous.

Agreed. Just because u prefer not to wear certain colors doesnt mean its cuz it looks bad on your skintone. Its just your preference. I had stated before how i love how dark/deep lips look on fair skin.

I agree w/you, I always envy how deep lip colors look on lighter skin tones because the color pops out more but I guess is a matter of preference.

I do agree w/the fact that Mac could have done a better job bringing out more new/unique items w/this collection (instead of lashes, mascara and repeat eyeshadows). I personally hated HK with passion the first time around and don't understand why it had to come back

All of them can work on pretty much everyone.. that's what she was going for.. something that is diverse for everyone to wear. Now she should have just said that she wouldn't wear it, then that's understandable.

Lol, I think pics like this only shows the lipstick applied with a quick swipe. Due to the stiff finish one has to apply a couple of layers to get true opaqueness.

what she said. being a RM finish, it must be capable of much more pigmentation and build up than that!

This is a perfect example of when people need to realize that their own personal taste doesn't speak for everyone else. It's exactly why I disregard bloggers opinions and just want to see the products. I'll decide if something suits me or not.

Shontay this is precisely why I don't let bloggers opinions influence me. You can tell when they only use certain colors for certain types. I'm like get out there and explore a little.

I wanted them solely because of the pink color. But so not worth it so many bad reviews. I think it is just the quality of them that is crap.
