To anyone who knows about the NYC MAC stores....which do you think would be better to go to for this release, the Times Square store or the MAC on 5th avenue?

I'm doing MAc Soho not as much foot traffic as Times Square

The Diamonds CCB. That and the Nude lippie is all I'm really interested in. The lippie is a definite and the CCB is a huge possibility where I'm currently leaning more towards getting it than not.

I still think Mac missed a golden opportunity here but I am envisioning a major stampede . My imagination has been running so wild that all I am seeing is cows and horses loose at the stores on Thursday. Thankfully I am going to be stuck working all day. Makes me so nervous just thinking about it! Still just Diamonds CCB and BGGG blush for me. I may have a volunteer braving it for me but if they don't succeed in getting these two items I am completely free on the 3rd.

Well, in a related note the artist attached to this collection is continuing her tradition of making an ass of herself on social media. It's got me thinking I can hold out on this collection. I seriously don't even want to support anything of hers. It's like throwing money at all these dumb girls I see in hood every day.

I initially thought you were talking about her walking down the street with a see-thru top on, nipple and piercing showing and all!

This is pretty cool. I haven't bothered with Melt cosmetics yet. When are they really going to take off? I'm interested, though. I like the name, too.

My mac is having the preview at 9am on Thursday. I'm on the list but still was worried I wouldn't be able to get anything, I called the Mac store I'll be going to & the only lipstick they got a ton of is Riri Woo. She basically just told me to be there early, she's thinking they'll sell out before the store actually opens. Makeup buying us not supposed to be stressful! Lol

Times Square. I've been there a lot and when collections have launched. It's not nearly as crowded as you'd expect.

I don't understand why Rihanna is constantly engaging in twitter battles. She's an international pop star with tons of money! Why does she feel the need to constantly knock other people?? I would think she has bigger fish to fry! She has some serious anger pent up. As a person, she puts a bad taste in my mouth... Her music I'm indifferent to. I'll buy a couple of products for mac collector sake. That's a gorgeous shade by melt but that name ... No good for me lol! Just called a mac and she said 10 am! They aren't doing any presales so yay! I'll be there at 9!

I am so torn on this collection. The TTT looks gorgeous and I love the Retromatte formula, but not sure I want to support the collaborating artist in light of the recent drama. I realize this is more about MAC than the artist, but there are principles involved here. We all know I will probably cave to the hype of how great it looks on pictures here, but for now I think I have decided to skip and focus on the other retromattes. More for you ladies to enjoy--hope everyone gets at least one of each product they desire. On the positive side, I do think it is nice that MAC is trying to limit scalpers buying up mass quantities of things so more people get a chance to try the item before the price gets jacked up on evilbay.

What do they mean when they say "will hit MAC stores on September 26th and all other stores October 3 through October 31"....?

What store will it hit first? I live in Houston, TX, is it referring to any specific location?
