Thank you! I thought TTT would be similar to Cyber/Smoked Purple but they're not alike at all

I applied TTT liner and filled my lips but it was a little patchy. It seems it dries super fast so when you go to layer on another swipe over it you'll notice the patchiness. So I took it off put TTT lipstick on and the cleaned up the edges with the liner. MUCH BETTER.

the pic isn't great but it'll do for now. I REALLY like the color and I think it's different from FOD.

I was playing around with WTC and remembered I have a gloss of a similar color. MUFE lab shine gloss (love these things) #D18. Very close in color and adds a little more oomph to it. D stands for diamond finish which means less color but more sparkle. Doesn't make WTC anymore obnoxious surprisingly. Oh and playing with Nude, Hodepodge is the liner I prefer with out. Probably wear it out tomorrow.

Meh I wouldn't take that as the authority on shades. I can wear yellow powder (and have used the Bobbi Brown version for years) and I'm darker than her. She must have a heavy hand. Some of the techniques she showed work for people with proper blending. Some pull it off and some don't. And that's the second time the drag queen comment has rubbed me wrong. Shontay you just reminded me I need to BU Hodgepodge. I love that liner.

I forgot to mention that one of the SAs suggested Stone liner over Verve lipstick to create a good dupe Nude. It won't stop me from getting Nude, but I'll have fun playing with this combination in the meantime. I should have taken a pic of it but it slipped my mind.

Thank you! THIS is the actual color I was thinking of but could not. I ended up swatching Empowered to see if it was a dupe but all along I was thinking of Our Pick!! Thank you thank you. As soon as I saw your post it clicked. Our Pick is acutally the one that's hard to wear for me not Empowered....but they are similar

I was in line about to ask for it when I heard the girl in front of me ask for it . She finished checking out and when it was my turn and I asked the MUA and he said aww we just sold the last one... :jawdrop: i saw the girl later on at the mall and I gave her little mac bag the longest stare down :haha:

Our Pick on left Empowered on right The indoor lighting does not show exact true colors but Out Pick and Empowered are much more taupey than Nude HTH!

I went to the MAC store after work today and got what I wanted (Hibiscus Kiss and Diamonds), they still had plenty of product left. I swatched the whole collection just to be dead sure I wasn't surpassing anything good and newp, my pale skin is just fine with the two items I picked out. I got a RRW backup with the summer launch and I already have the RRW PLW liner and WTC that were previously purchased. On to the MSF collection *braces wallet*

I'm not gonna lie,I did not like her drag queen comment. I think drag queens are really some of the most creative people at applying makeup. The techniques they use are definetly phenomenon, but I sure enjoyed how she truly demonstrated that some off us try hard to become the trend instead of making their own version of it to suit their faces,lifestyles,etc.

Im mad that deep red color on all the pictures turned out to be dark purple I HATE PURPLE!!!!! i wanted it to look blood red like the pictures :/ but i still got it and the other lippies .
