RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

So i dont love nude as much today as i did yesterday...maybe it was the excitement. Today im wearing the her cocoa quad, diamonds as a cheekbone highlight and nude lipstick with wet n wild chestnut liner...probably gonna take it off and just wear my lover ttt

but it looks so gorgeous on you

I think it really serves one main purpose and that's highlighting. Other minor purposes-maybe as a lipstick adjuster like on the RIRI promo pic with it on top of ttt?? Other than that I haven't come up with many other uses...

It is creamier and oilier than a PP so it doesn't dry down like that. As a base I use about a 1/4 of what I would use as a PP. I like UD Primer Potion MOST of the time and always with regular shadow but some shadows work better with different bases. When I use Luna as a shadow base I use a tiny bit but only use it as a base for the Pressed Pigment and the MES. Regular shadow with it and it creases like no tomorrow. I have mixed Luna with Pink Opal pigment and then applied it and it was AMMMAZEBALLS. I do not have oily lids though, mine stay pretty dry from the eye drops I use for allergies.

So here's my dilemma. My local store releases on oct. 3rd with a preview party on the second. I just stopped by to ask about TTT l/s and she says the store ordered 36... and received 3! They said they weren't even planning on putting a tester out so they'd have one more. I'm going to the party after work but I know I won't make it in time to get one the three, so she suggested ordering online, even though MAC doesn't deliver here! I have a friend flying in from Canada on the 4th. Do you think it will get to her by then? The last launch the Canada orders were insanely fast. But who knows! Sorry for the novel!

Just got my goodies & everything is really really pretty.

I love TTT on me. The liners RW & TTT are awesome. Really love RW liner. I used the new Chanel ls Impulse over it

I'm so glad that the mac mua talked me into CCB Diamonds

Its a very subtle ivory pearl shimmer without being bad shimmer.
I just wish that I would have gotten the blush

I have also scraped out a bit of Luna and Pearl to lighten foundation and give a glow. I mix it with the foundation before I apply it.

omg i think i am more surprised with hibiscus kiss. The brown side i love because it looks like a neutral blush on me and the pink side is so pigmented its just gorgeous. I didnt think it was going to work on me because my sister has the one from the summer launch and it was just a hard product to work with but mine its just beautiful. I have absolutely no problem picking up the brown shade onto my brush. i dab the brush and theres already product on it. so yes i am even more happy that i got it even though i got it initially for the packaging

Im really not feeling the nude lipstick. Imma give it one last try today but if not imma try and see if anyone would exchange it for Talk that Talk in my sale post.

Its funny cause I felt the same way.. its like the color of the lipstick isn't the same color when it goes on the lips. buuttt I gave it another try with my face all made up, put some lipliner in a darker brown and I used the kaoir lip-pop in brown sugar and I loved it. Now its not the perfect nude.. but its the closest to one that i want.. most other nudes are just to light for me personally and I look like i have flour on my lips lol.

After seeing how gorgeous everything looks on people, my list is getting longer and longer...

I have a question about the veluxe brow pencils (although I'm not planning to buy them in the special packaging, so it's a bit of a tangent to this thread, really).

I'm fair-skinned but I have dark, warm-ish brown hair and eyes and black brows. I was recommended the twist up brow pencil in Brunette and I absolutely hate it. It shows up sandy against the colour of my brows and I really have to layer it on to build it up to a colour that doesn't look weird. That leaves my brows looking caked, makes it harder to be precise, and means I'm going through it really, really fast (can you tell how much I don't like this product...). I tried to return it the day after I got it, but the return policy here is very strict, so no luck. Anyway, I wanted to ask if anyone had opinions on whether either of these brow pencils would work on my colouring. The other product I'm looking at is the twist-up pencil in Spiked. Thanks, guys.

My "Idk how I feel about this nude Lippie" face. I dabbed it on and it looks ok. Maybe cause I don't have the right eye look for it? Idk. Tried WTC, not that impressed either. it kind of reminds me of some 99 cents wet n wild lippies. Not saying those are bad cause they aren't. just feel like I could find a dupe somewhere in that brand for so much cheaper.

I went to MAC and got these items: BGGG Blush RRW l/g and LP TTT RM l/s I skipped Nude b/c I thought it would make me look ashy before seeing the pics of WOC wearing it. Hope I can get it next week. This is me wearing a RRW tri-combo (lipliner/lipstick/lipglass) w/ BGGG blush
