RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

I witnessed a woman purchasing 2 and 3 every item.  She spent over $700. I thought to myself, "I wonder how much of it will end up on ebay!"

hmmm that's unfair to us who wanted a backup of an item. I thought we were only allowed to buy 1 of each item

I tried BGGG today and it's a really pretty blush color. I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do!

Well, I did get my TALK THAT TALK and the color is lovely! Exactly what I was expecting. However, it does take patience to apply. I had to really layer it to get the color to transfer and reach full opaqueness. I dont know if I put on too much Prep + Prime and waited to long to apply the lipstick or what. It can get patchy if you overdue it in a hurry. Definitely a color you have to take your time with. But I do love the color. I first paired it with Nightmoth and now I am going to reapply it with Vino. I am glad that TTT isn't toooo dark. The color is just right.

I went to MAC and got these items: BGGG Blush RRW l/g and LP TTT RM l/s I skipped Nude b/c I thought it would make me look ashy before seeing the pics of WOC wearing it. Hope I can get it next week. This is me wearing a RRW tri-combo (lipliner/lipstick/lipglass) w/ BGGG blush

BIG thanks to everyone that suggested not to sleep on HK this time. I didn't even touch the tester yesterday because I was thinking it would not be pigmented on my skintone per last collections reviews. But today I went back and tried it on. I had to practically beg the MUA to try the tester because they pulled it off the floor since it sold out. Anyway the MUA built it up (the bronzer) on my cheeks and I was amazed. (mufe 170, MAC nc44 skintone equivalent)
It's more of a bronzy blush than a true bronzer but it warmed my skin up beautifully. I LOVED it.

As I was checking myself out in the mirror the guy who was helping me just walked away and took HK with him. UMMMMMMM. So I hunt him down and tell him that I was not done and would like to also try the pink side. He told me we don't have anymore for you to buy. *pause* UMMMMMMMMMM (blank stare). It's ok I tell him. I just want to see if I like it and I'll buy it when it comes online. I wanted to roll my eyes but I took the higher road and gave him a big bright friendly smile.

So I try on the pink side. LOVE!!!

I never would have considered HK if I had not read the online chatter today. Luckily another MAC store had it available so I drove there afterwards and was able to buy one today.

That's something I'd like to know, heck I would've loved to backup talk that talk lipstick and liner just to have the extra and not have to deal with the waiting room but I was told I couldn't

My bf called my mac store to see which lippies were in stock and the girl goes "oh ya we still have riri woo, nude, and walk that walk." ? Really "walk that walk"? And no she was referring to WTC not TTT (had my hopes up for a minute). I would think working at MAC the girls would be more educated on the products especially the really popular ones....*shrugs shoulders Heading to the Mac store, hope they have what I want.

She was probably able to do it because we all know hardly anything is ever "in stone" at MAC and just about every store has a different set of rules except when it comes to not being able to B2M for Viva Glam lippies.

I've had time to come down from my high and I'm a little reluctant again about diamonds. My Chanel highlighter is more golden and not quite as obnoxious. I'm wondering if I really need it. Of course the answer is no, but then again, I'm already spending a small fortune on this collection so why not? I'll see. TTT liner is OK. It's uneven, but I will work with it. Putting TTT lipstick on top was a disaster. The liner comes out super dark on me and the lipstick on top made it look like I burned my lips. No, thanks to that combo. Here's Thrills vs. WTC:

When I went to pick up TALK THAT TALK, I could tell one of the MUA's had it on but must have had it paired with something else cause it looked noticeably darker and cooler toned. She said she had filled her lips with TTT liner and then applied TTT Lipstick on top. It didn't look bad on her but I didn't care for that pairing on me. Glad I decided to skip the liner.

Well, my small package came...lol Here's TTT& Nude. I also have on BGGG and diamonds. I love everything. The liner was smooth as well. No liner with nude.

Nope, I was behind her and her mom while they purchased their stash. However, they split the order up into 3 batches and paid separately.

i felt the same way, but then i realize this is no different than when people bring their entire families out for Black Friday sales with game plans on shopping, give clear directions as to who's buying what, to get around the buying limits. people find loopholes to get around stuff...now it sounds like that lady was by herself buying all that but i've heard on other sites people saying they brought friends and family members who weren't interested in the stuff themselves to purchase multiples. sucks but at the same time we might have to do that to get what we want!
