MAC Divine Night Collection (October 17, 2013)

i NEED this color story so i can start plotting ! any ideas of when it might come out ?

Team purple!!! Can't wait to find out what the names are even if they are violetta and color saturation I will get them lol. My CS is a mini from lag year just about gone and violetta I could use a bu of! but hopefully they are new colors!

not sure what i should do....Since the Collection is launching October 17th and the invite that i got for the launch said oct 18....so i booked my makeup appt then. Does release date vary by store/location. Im just scared that the whole color collection will be sold out on the 17th .. maybe my store is releasing it a day later

i actually just spoke to a mac associate from my store and they told me since the Divine Night event by me is all weekend they are getting A LOT of products to last through the three days so no worries...hope shes right ! 

Launches are on thursdays, but events are on fridays-sundays. I wouldn't take her world on the "plenty of stock" thing. Mac doesn't send stock based on events. Mac sends stock based on current inventory levels and selling trends of certain colours per location. As with all locations, they WILL get just 3-6 items of some colours, of some popular colours. It happens everytime. And something will be sold out on the first day.

I have to make a doc appointment in october and the doc is only in on Thursdays ..I know the collection is out on the 17th but I want to get it online ..so the Thursday before the 17th is the online launch?

Okay I just spoke to mac on 148 Columbus ave manhattan they told me they are definitely having an event launch for divine night but no date is available ! They told me call back next week for a definite date . Hope this helps! The number is 1212 769 0725

Hey that's my store! Good to know. Last year, they did pre-orders so I didn't have to worry about missing out on anything. I guess I will have to call as well. Thanks for the heads up.

no problem...i live in L.I. and i know for sure my story isn't doing pre orders (( hope yours does !

The design is a square within a square. So there will be two shade of eye shadows, I prefer my singles. Sorry I can't remember the lipstick shades very well but I'm pretty sure there were five.

Cool thanks! I'm wondering if we will be getting a lot of vampy lipstick shades. Hmm My Macys said this collec wont be out until Oct 24.

I don't feel... Anything. Breaking Bad has me in mourning, it's true. I think the last holiday collection that held any interest for me was Tartan Tale. I loved the packaging of last years, but the products didn't interest me so much. I miss getting excited about the holiday offerings

It is possible(more than likely) they meant a different part of this collection and not the main one.

Well if this collection has a lot of purple it definitely narrow down my list. I love purple but it does not love me, it takes a ton of extra work and require my skin and the rest of my makeup to be FLAWLESS. And thank you so much liba for the suggestion of using the fluidline under the eye. I have a few purple liners that I do that with once in a while, so I don't want to spend the $$ on another product that will hardly get used. And I've been realizing as well that red based purples are better for me than blue based, maybe cause my eyes are blue... It's so hard skipping purples cause they are so beautiful and look amazing on so many people, but for me they get tested once and then collect dust.

I have to agree . I have blue eyes as well and I can pull off some eyeshadows such as Stars N' Rockets but as for lipsticks and blushes I'm gonna have to take a pass on the purple. My blue eyes and fair skin just can't pull it off .. Unless I want to look like a disney villan or something lol

Yep the purple fluidline looks cool! I just hope it is nothing like the Glamour Daze fluid lines, or the Indulge ones.
