My goodness y'all are going THRU it today at these counters! I'm highly amused, yet incredibly disappointed in MAC. Like WTF?

Happy to hear no one here got trampled or anything. Sounds like it's Black Friday, not a regular old Thursday makeup launch.

Taupey Nude & Fuchsia both matte...not all that exciting! Just saw the Guerlain lipsticks and quickly x'd out of T's page! The packaging is cute though. UGH

Ah, those lipsticks are a complete skip for me. Thank goodness. I want one of the rouge automatiques because I have a couple already and the formula is really nice. I love the neon accents on the packaging. I can't wait to get my stubby hands on it.

I got ttt and i plan to order this melt lipstick. I believe this lipstick is more red tho and ttt is more purple? Could be wrong. Ill swatch them side by side when i get it

Same here, that melt lippie looks fire! I just saw their ig page and there's a peachy orange that i'm drooling over! it's out of stock on their website, i'll check them out next week!

I just ordered Her Cocoa quad from Bloomingdales. :haha: Why the hell not? I keep thinking about it. It swatched well all 3 times I played with it and the packaging. I just love opening my makeup drawer and seeing that rose gold. That's it. Mac got me again. :getyou: I'll allow myself this giant haul because I don't see another on the horizon anytime soon.

It's sad to see people go off on SA's. It's not their fault that MAC is not sending enough quantities. But I did have an SA tell me that yesterday all the TTT lipsticks disappeared from the drawer so they would not have any to sell. She thinks and another SA took the 5 finger discount. Sad

PLEASE get it and wear it over your RiRi Woo or even TTT lipstick! Its usually one of the last items sold out in the collection, and its actually worth it!
The color pay-out is BOMB.

I decided to call a Nordies somewhere in IL (random right? lol) and was told I could get my items. I felt kind of weird giving out my credit card info over the phone (be gentle, it was my first time lol). I see the charge on my card so I'm hoping i get an email soon. The SA was really nice about it. I also got a BU (backorder) of TTT from Nordies so I'm waiting on that to ship.

At the end of the drama I have everything I want plus some backups. I don't feel bad about BU's because I went to 6 different stores since the original launch. Waited hours online for the MAC launch and hours last night for the department stores launch. I put in WORK. Lol

Ok so my Nude and WTC lippies just came from the online launch. I will confess that as soon as the delivery guy left, I closed my door and practically bit the box open. GGGRRRRR!!!

Nude looks just like Fresh Brew on me, so I'm kinda disappointed, I was hoping for a new nude. I mean I like Fresh Brew, it's my go to nude actually, so I'm gonna keep it, but I was expecting... MORE. Then I tried on WTC and remember why I've never been a huge fan of frost finishes. I feel like the 80s are back. LOL! Overall, I'm not disappointed with my purchases, but honestly, I'm all set with Rihanna and her MAC collection. No backups necessary. More for everyone else.

Disappointed I didn't get the blush, but I'll live.

right?! I would hope so, it's bad enough the customers have to beat other customers to the counters but now they have to compete with MAC employees? what part of the game is that? I mean MAC should just allow their employees to make an order of what they want and ship it to the store separately before the launch, that way no employee has to buy up the stock on release date. but that's just fairy tale in a perfect Make Up world dream, le sigh!

I was fourth in line.. My store didn't get Diamonds sent to them (or so they allege). I was able to get HK, 2 nude lipsticks, 1 TTT, and 1 BBBG blush..

I *love* the nude lipstick. I was scared it wouldn't look good on my light skin.. I thought I'd have to mix it with other colors, but I love it. I am about an NC15-NC20 depending on how much I've been in the sun, etc.

I almost got in a fight with a guy in line.. He heard from people in line that people were selling items on ebay for triple the amount.. then loudly said he was going to buy everything..and I had a slight wig out.. which is odd because I am a very passive, laid back person.

He claimed it was a joke - I told him it was NOT a funny joke since some of us have spend hours upon hours trying to get a hold of these items.. He was with a girl--- and I think he didn't end up buying anything (although not sure)... so he was probably trolling..but it made me so MAD !!
