RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

The one in Macys White Marsh Mall they are usually so rude and ignore the heck out of you but the MA who helped me today was so sweet. But...That could be because I was the first one there and she knew I was prepared drop a grip on the collection lol

Oh I was able to pre-order though since they were expecting their shipment.

I got my 1 last minute item, Hibiscus Kiss in the pretty package (maybe I can sell my regular package one).  I think I like the store launch better for these popular collections.  They were more organized and gave out numbers and there was only one door to worry about.  I was first in line at my Macy's at the door nearest the MAC counter but when I got in, there were already about 6 or 7 people in line. They opened a different door first and the lady opening the door I was at was moving sooooooooo sloooooooooooooooooow.  Plus their published opening time was wrong so I had to wait another hour.  I had already invested my time, so leaving would have felt like I was being punked.

Yeah, the door game is tough. They should put a sign up at each door designating which door folks should come through for MAC purchases. Like put a sign up at doors 1,2,&3 stating the air for MAC starts @ door 2.

Looks great on you! What did you get? I have no idea what is going on here in France, on the French MAC addict forum sales assitants were confirming today but there is nothing on the website and nothing in the MAC Standalone store here *Le Sigh*
Thank you. I got WTC, RiRi Woo, TTT, Diamonds, and Hibiscus Kiss. I swatched a couple of other things, but decided that I didn't need them. I was really prepared to leave Diamonds, but it was such a pretty pink on my skin tone that I just couldn't resist.

Harvey Nichols in Leeds seemed to handle it very well as well. By about 9.55, there were about 10 of us outside the doors. I was actually trying to see which department stores had the Gorgeous Eyes palettes in stock, and thought I'd have a quick look, just out of curiosity.

I think the reviews of TTT being a pain and patchy hurt it.

Really that's strange cause I already order with macys on the phone and last year for Marilyn Monroe collection I did the same thing.

I went to Towson they did not receive TTT at all!!! But I know what you mean about some of them. Pretty much everyone knows me at this one but the one in Coumbia I don't do them either they lie, act snotty or just don't know what the hell they are talking about!! Like once I went in to B2M and they tell me I can only do a max of 3 I asked when did this start because it's always been 4!! she goes "uh,uh,uh thats what it is". So I said so of all the MAC stores and counters this is the only one that does 3 huh? 

I used to go to the Macs at the Columbia Mall they know me there. I may see you sometime at the Towson one I go there now I just moved over this side of Town so the MA's are just getting to know me lol. white marsh is actually closer to where I Live but I dislike that counter so much I drive a little further out to go to Towson.

With all of the drama that I went through for this collection now I can understand why people covet their backups. Hours online, time spent driving to a store, standing in line. What a mess

Oh and I wanted to say before I went in and one person was in front of me, the MUA came out and said there were only 3 Diamonds CCB's left. Ugh. Good thing I wasn't any further back in the line.

I just ordered Her Cocoa quad from Bloomingdales. :haha: Why the hell not? I keep thinking about it. It swatched well all 3 times I played with it and the packaging. I just love opening my makeup drawer and seeing that rose gold. That's it. Mac got me again. :getyou: I'll allow myself this giant haul because I don't see another on the horizon anytime soon.
