I agree that there's no need to yell the sales associate about it... It's beyond her control. Even the manager has no say in terms of how much MAC Corporate sends a store or counter.

Exactly! The MAC lady was such a sweetheart, and she was pregnant too. I felt so bad for her.

You put up a good fight lol.I just ordered Her Cocoa quad from Bloomingdales.Why the hell not? I keep thinking about it. It swatched well all 3 times I played with it and the packaging. I just love opening my makeup drawer and seeing that rose gold. That's it. Mac got me again.
I'll allow myself this giant haul because I don't see another on the horizon anytime soon.

It looks nice, but I'm going for it. Got my fill of TTT-type colors. Plus, I'm really picky about lipsticks and glosses. I like to be able to smell a lip product before I buy it.Will anyone be buying this since it kinda looks like TTT?

So I made the idiotic decision to to Dillard's this morning. I had to be out for some other things that were in the area. Plus I figured that Dillard's is a smaller store so less traffic, right? Well YES to less traffic there were only like 6 people including myself when the door opened. But guess what? NO Talk That Talk at all. None. Not one Not sure what else they didnt have but when I heard that I ran out of there with another girl and we made a bee line to Macy's Macy's was a mad house. Got there at 10am on the dot and the glass door that opens into Macy's was stuck. So there stood about 20 of so people growing angry because we could not get inside. What added fuel to the fire was that we could see people lining up at the MAC counter who had come in through other doors. So there we all stood helpless and watching the line inside grow longer. Some people started yelling, some cursing. It was getting bad. Then finally about 10 minutes or so after 10am we all were let in. People started to run and push. A lady ended up in front of me who clearly arrived at the last minute of the door opening. It was not organized. I felt sorry for those that camped out this morning because we're all let in at the same time to fend for ourselves. And to make this story even more juicy my Macy's was NOT following the 1 per person rule that we've seen at MAC, Saks and Nordies. They were letting people buy up to THREE of the same thing!! As if they were permanent items. How is this fair when over 50 people are in line. I guess Macy's can make up their own rules At the end of the drama I have everything I want plus some backups. I don't feel bad about BU's because I went to 6 different stores since the original launch. Waited hours online for the MAC launch and hours last night for the department stores launch. I put in WORK. Lol

Just saw the Guerlain lipsticks and quickly x'd out of T's page! The packaging is cute though. UGH

I got ttt and i plan to order this melt lipstick. I believe this lipstick is more red tho and ttt is more purple? Could be wrong. Ill swatch them side by side when i get itWill anyone be buying this since it kinda looks like TTT?

The one chick in Nordstroms that was really upset about missing out on TTT was so out of control. First, she took the brand new testers of each lipstick and put them on her lips directly. You know how you're looking at someone, but you're not really watching? Yeah, that was me. I came to my senses by time she got to the third lipstick and realized she was just applying them directly. Gross for people coming up behind her to swatch. What are people thinking? Then, she really tried to account for all the TTT's the MUA said they got. She was like: Ok, you sold how many over the phone. Ok, so this many should be left. Where they at? I didn't know whether to laugh or tell her to shut the hell up. When the MUA was ringing me up she said it's going to be a bad day. I felt bad for her. The customer apologized, but still. I don't know why but I told the chick about the new Mac counter at the mall down the road and I told her to check Bloomingdales in the same mall we were in. I took off down the way to Bloomingdales and when she asked I told her it was on the other end and she sounded frustrated. She turned around. I thought she was going to drive to the other end because walking would've taken her forever. That's because her walk was more like a waddle. I guess she tried her luck at the other mall because she should've beaten me down to Bloomingdales in her car. Two ladies that took off for Bloomingdales before me and I saw them coming out. They looked like fat cats after a nice meal. Guess they got their TTT. That sad little Macys in the same mall doesn't even have a Mac counter. How lame?
