RiRi Hearts MAC Fall Collection (October 3, 2013)

Ok so I'm a newbie to the site, but not to cosmetics.  I'm wondering if anyone else does not realize in total what they spent.  I'm actually afraid to add it all up.  I do know that I spent $180 at the store alone.  I'm scared to realize my damage.  Maybe if I add it up I'll stop myself.  The rush feels so good!  I'm already a compulsive shopper this board is making it worse ... LOL!!!

I spent 122.49 and I set a limit of 130.00 for myself so I'm a happy camper

My local Macys counter just told me that they never even got Diamonds. But, she said they are going to get a shipment of it sometime. So, don't despair as there will be restocks of these items.

i just got done catching up with this thread and sheesh :thdrama:  ! i still consider myself somewhat of a newbie and i have never felt unwelcome or any negative vibes. the ladies and gents on specktra have been nothing but nice and super helpful. i hope this riri drama doesn't discourage anyone from joining as i believe all are welcome here arty2: !  also i can't believe how hard it has been for some of you to hunt down items! it's incredibly disheartening the way MAC has handled this release! i really wish there was some standardized rules for big releases like this that all mac stores, counters, etc. had to follow!  i was lucky and was able to get my items after an hour and a half in the waiting room. ttt and nude arrived yesterday and i'm not really in love with either of them, but i WILL make them work. i'm working with a limited budget, so i'll be getting my 33 + tax worth.  nude with cork liner. i have to say, i'm not really a fan. i think i'll try it with numerous liners an see if i can a way to make it work. ttt with nightmoth liner. sorry for the sloopy application, but this just applies really patchy on me.

I got on Nordstorm yesterday (Thurs) a tad after 9 AM and Nude was gone, but they had TTT. So i check into Macy's to see if they had Nude and when i got back to Nordstrom in very little time, TTT was gone. Sigh. Seems like MAC made less of these than they did of Heaux and RiRi Boy.

I'm guessing heaux was cheaper to make heheh :lmao:

Oh trust me...I don't love the higher price. I think I may be one of the few people that doesn't agree that ALL PLWLL are better than the regular ones. I have a few in my collection that are much drier. Just like I have some regular ones that are the best liners in the world to me (Nightmoth would be one). When they are hits you are a little more forgiving of the smaller size I guess but otherwise you feel a little cheated (pay more for less).

thanks for telling what you think about the PLWLL and the regular ones. i dont have many lip liners. i used to not care about them. i had a bunch of WnW ones, until i noticed that when doing my lips by cleaning the lines the whole thing would just disappear. so i was just adding a pointless layer on. Even if i like the PLWLL formula ( i dont know yet) i still have a long list i want from the permanent line. and i agree the colors get you regardless of the price. i still want 3 of the new ones from the Retro matte collection

My diamonds order was cancelled again by nordstroms, I am beyond upset because this time they sent me an email saying they received my order leading me to believe it would be filled. The first time I didn't get the first email. This is ridiculous.

I got an order cancellation before I got the order confirmation hahaha!

My hubby is in cali on business n he :encore:jus called n said he would hit all the duty free shops on his way back from cali to where we are in the east coast. What a nice man. And to think we almost divorced last year.

My husband did something like this not long ago too. He was in Detroit for some military training and after class he went to a mac store in the area and got me the last flamingo lipstick they had. I had missed out online and I have no mac store or counter near me. I was so happy when he came home and surprised me with it. Who knew a lipstick would make me so happy.
