On the subject of dark lippies or even bright ones and costumes, sometimes I am embarrassed to wear my brights and darks. I always get extra stares when I wear bold Lips. But I love it and women should do it more! I think that's why I get stares because most women I see aren't even wearing anything on their lips. Ok Random thought post...

I totally agree! I get so many stares when I wear seductive intent mattene or heroine.. It used to bother me but now Idc! I love those colors and I'm definitely not a nude lip type of girl.

Oh no they don't ask. They just start touching me like they have free reign. Apparently my arms have signs that are invisible to only me that say "feel free to molest my arms at your leisure". I was standing in line at panera one day waiting to place my order, talking to my friend, and this lady ahead of my turned around and started groping my arms. Happens all the friggin time! I don't get it! You'd think they'd think that tattoos feel different or something, but that's not it. They just have have feel them for some reason, kind of like when people have to touch your hair when you get it cut (and what's up with that!?). I don't understand it. They don't get the concept of a personal bubble! I've been on the phone once on my lunch break and this lady was literally circling me. I got off the phone and she was like "sorry i was just in awe of your artwork and just had to touch it and then started feeling my arms. Seriously!? I'm not a zoo exhibit that you gawk over and then approach once i'm off the phone and start petting.
Unless i know you, don't touch me!

Some one asked her in her comments if this was Cyber lipstick and she replied saying "It does look like cyber but it's a new matte lipstck that comes out in september and I put Shell CCB in the centre" This.is.the.blurple!

I'm originally from London and the good ol' folks of Nice, in France, think I am crazy. Back in London everyone had bold hair, I have been reddddd for about 2 years now and I barely see anyone else with a similar hair colour. I work as a face and body painter so alot of my every day work is Kids Parties, All the kids are constantly asking my, "why is your hair red?" or telling me "I have never seen anyone with hair like you" It's just not the done thing over here!
I went to the supermarket in FOD yesterday, people stared. I kinda liked it! lol

@ Tahlia : you look like a close skin color match to mine and trust me it would look RAD .. I was afraid of darks too and just succumbed to cyber one day and BOOM instant confidence badass boost and Into dark lipsticks I went. I wear nudes too and all but there's a je ne se quis " about a dark lippy..... I say you get ur ass to the nearest Mac or makeup store and try on a dark lip. Just walk around the store or even around the mall and see how you feel. So that way you don't have to compromise but a bold dark lippy should be tried on at least once in your life... Truth!
